Just as the autumn sunlight pervades, in the extremely clear and immaculate nature, contemplate all things. It is the second stage of the Bodhicitta Samantabhadra practice, characterized by extreme emptiness. Āḥ (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आः, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Ah) is the seed syllable that serves as the basis for the door of speech, and it is the cause to be revealed. Because beings of little faith cannot understand what the Tathagata thinks and speaks, they rely on the solar disc for contemplation, or a five-pronged vajra, or a jewel, or daytime, or dextrorotation, which is called the aspect of solidity. The aspect of universal increase is the conventional form arising from the mind. What is the characteristic of obtaining appearance? It is the characteristic of space, separate from all things, without body or speech, just like entering the darkness of the borderlands, the nature pervades, subtle and selfless, without appearance, universally without appearance, because life and effort do not flow, so there is no mind, unmoving. Āḥ (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आः, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Ah) is the foolishness that is completely accomplished by relying on the seed syllable of the door of speech. With what attachment to what is there no wavering? This ignorance is called obtaining appearance. What do these do? The verse says: The realm of sentient beings Is the nature of all Its root is that very one Thus it is said. It means that all sentient beings perform birth, death, and so on. It is like what is said in the teachings of Maitreya. Therefore, for these objects, one should separately ascertain and hold them with wisdom, indicating that they are approached by its wind. The so-called "that is the appearance of each meaning" means that wisdom will separately ascertain through form and sound, and so on. Therefore, it appears as such and so on. By whose power does it arise? The so-called "that is the appearance of each meaning, the wind takes and holds" means that the wind causes wisdom to universally move. Wisdom will then hold the object. Wind and consciousness, that is, wind and consciousness, because they arise simultaneously and are similarly associated, it is called that. Where does it reside? The so-called "consciousness accompanied by wind, constantly resides in movement" means that wind and consciousness both constantly reside in all movers. The meaning of these is

This is declared as follows. Consciousness is liberated from the nature of rigidity, and self-awareness naturally exists in all sentient beings, without the occurrence of universally moving and extremely deluded actions. In some cases, these are driven by the wind, relying on the eyes and so forth, taking forms and so on as objects, and thus individually cognizing. That cognition is the dominant one. That which is dominant necessarily possesses the nature of being apprehended. That which possesses the nature of being apprehended will quickly generate decisive knowledge. Therefore, with whatever it is accompanied, by that, in whatever place it is definitely understood, this is not difficult and should be explained. From the mind, how does nature arise? How is it explained with utmost clarity for those proximate discriminations? "Alas, this is the great wind element," meaning it has become a subtle element. "It is the vehicle of the three consciousnesses," meaning it has become the vehicle of the consciousnesses of appearance and so forth. "Its nature is constant, how does it go?" meaning that for the knower, from the focus on the object, all forms of that nature will arise at all times. As the Bhagavan said in the "Collected Vajra Wisdom from All," thereafter, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Maitreya rose from his seat, prostrated with his head at the feet of the Bhagavan, and said to the Bhagavan, "Alas! Teacher, the three consciousnesses are difficult to understand, they are extremely difficult to understand. Please explain the distinctions of the three consciousnesses." The Bhagavan taught, "Consciousness arises from clear light. That is called mind and intellect, and it is the root of all pervasively afflicted, various aspects, and the dharmas of its nature. From that, the discrimination of self and others will arise. That consciousness rides on the wind, from the wind comes fire, from fire comes water, from water comes earth. From them arise the five aggregates, the six sense bases, and the five faculties, all of which are mixed with the wind," and so forth, extensively explained. Thereafter, one should also draw near to obtaining the five aggregates of wisdom.
