什么是善?即贪欲等,以及与之相应的身语之业。什么是饥饿?即身心渴望食物。什么是口渴?即因极度干渴而渴望饮水。什么是感受?即体验快乐、痛苦以及非乐非苦的各种状态。什么是觉知者?即能够认知事物形态的智慧。什么是执持觉知者?即依靠某物并以某物为目标。什么是基础?即境的实物本身。什么是分别?即在理性和非理性之间寻求、追溯过去的行为。什么是羞耻感?即因自我或法的原因而避免不当行为。什么是慈悲?即希望某人摆脱某种状态。什么是爱?即希望某人与某物分离后能与之相遇。什么是疑惑?即心不定。什么是收集?即完全收集他人的事物。什么是吝啬?即以贪婪之心完全执持自己喜欢的事物。这些自性从显现中产生,揭示了一切众生所处之根本。通过完全了解这些,也能成就完全不混杂的禅定。接下来将阐述显现的扩展。那么,什么是显现扩展的特征呢?提到“如光芒不散般美丽”等,光芒不散即光芒不散。凡具有与光芒不散相似之法者,即被称为光芒不散。 “具足增长贪等”,即增长贪等,即某物在某处产生,即被称为具足增长贪等。例如,贪欲,中等贪欲,完全贪欲,喜悦,无,完全喜悦,欢喜,中等欢喜,完全欢喜,惊奇和欢笑,满足,拥抱,亲吻,执持,坚定,精进,骄傲,行为, 夺取,力量,快乐,与喜悦结合,与喜悦结合的中间状态,与极度喜悦结合,强烈,妩媚,争斗,善良,言辞清晰,安乐。

What is virtue? It is attachment and so on, and the actions of body and speech that correspond to it. What is hunger? It is the mind's desire for food. What is thirst? It is the desire for drink due to being completely parched. What is feeling? It is the complete experience of happiness, suffering, and the state of being free from both. What is a knower? It is the wisdom that grasps the nature of something. What is a holder of knowledge? It is that which relies on something and focuses on something. What is a basis? It is the object itself. What is discrimination? It is the act of searching for what is reasonable and unreasonable, and tracing back past actions. What is shame? It is avoiding improper actions due to oneself or the Dharma. What is compassion? It is the wish for someone to be free from a certain state. What is love? It is the wish for someone to be separated from something and then to meet with it. What is doubt? It is the mind not being settled. What is collecting? It is completely gathering the things of others. What is stinginess? It is completely holding onto what one likes with a greedy mind. These natures arise from appearances, revealing the root of where all sentient beings dwell. By fully understanding these, one can also perfect a meditation that is completely unmixed. Next, the expansion of appearances will be explained. So, what is the characteristic of the expansion of appearances? Mentioning "beautiful like unfurled light" and so on, unfurled light is unfurled light. That which possesses a quality similar to unfurled light is called unfurled light. "Possessing the increase of attachment and so on," means increasing attachment and so on, that is, something arises somewhere, and that is called possessing the increase of attachment and so on. For example, attachment, intermediate attachment, complete attachment, joy, absence, complete joy, delight, intermediate delight, complete delight, wonder and laughter, contentment, embracing, kissing, holding, steadfastness, diligence, pride, action, seizing, strength, pleasure, joining with joy, an intermediate state of joining with joy, joining with extreme joy, intensity, coquetry, strife, goodness, clear speech, and ease.
