It is the ritual of gathering, and the meaning of practicing the three yogas. The meaning of the words is that, from the perspective of clinging only to sound, what is said here as "at this time" etc., is the action described above. The explanation to the assembly is also the same, it is not a profound meaning. Therefore, one should rely on the sound of the explanation, this is the meaning of the words. From the perspective of the generation stage yoga, it is the explanation to the assembly. Where something exists by something, in what place, and how, and where something is shown by something as the object of action, that is called "thus." Furthermore, something is determined by something, and something is practiced by something, and something and something are made into objects, that is called "thus." That is the meaning of completeness. When the explanation of something by something is completely perfect, that is called "thus." Then, wanting to explain the common meaning, so it is said "thus said" etc. Where, by what, for what reason? This collection of sounds will completely refute the speaker. As an answer to "where," it is like this: In this occasion where the explanation of the meaning of the words is completely perfect, it is said. With what intention does one gather? Because the collector said "thus" etc. at the beginning of the scriptures. The meaning of these is, for what reason does the collector show it thus for the sake of the scriptures, what intention would there be? With what intention did the Bhagavan speak? If one wants to gather all the meanings of the tantras, or it becomes something else, this is the meaning of refutation. As an answer to that, if it is like the above, what will happen? It will become uncertain. Because "do I know these? I have heard these or these" also completely and perfectly shows the meaning of the tantras, so it will become that. If something has the ability by something in some place, then that also completely fulfills that meaning, then the word "only," distinguishing it from others, will realize that there is no separation, that is the meaning. If something is not completely abandoned by something in some place, then will that action be completely perfect? If one asks this, the word "thus said" will show the answer. Whatever is not completely abandoned, that will not become the fault of that, why? Because thus

The symbol of all the departed is the symbol of all the teachers of the tantras. If asked, what kind of symbol is the symbol that symbolizes? It is the symbol of wisdom and means. Only these two letters are used to symbolize, and no other way can be found, that is its meaning. The so-called "beginning of the scriptures" refers to something that can be symbolized in some way, so it is called that. The one who can fully understand it can fully understand it and them, that is its meaning. Furthermore, if something can indicate itself, then it is not a complete discourse, why? Because there will be a lack of a compiler. Because the phrase "Thus I have heard" will not be exactly the same as the words spoken by the compiler. If so, there is no compiler, that is its meaning. What will happen then? Words like "I" etc. will become irrelevant, why? Because "Thus I have heard" itself is a symbol, and the word "I", because it expresses the compiler's own name, becomes different. Why? Because whatever has something will be separated from that thing, so one will abandon the other. So, will it become without a compiler? This inference says that there is no compiler, but this inference itself is not valid, because in the meaning of Guhyasamaja, there is no compiler. So, the word "Oh?" itself is an expression of displeasure. Why are venerable Ananda etc. called compilers in the world? Because what the five good groups etc. have grasped and compiled will contradict the direct perception. If something is not fully asked by something, then it will also not exist, so it will also contradict the inference. The spoken answer etc., and what is expressed, and what is completely consistent with something, therefore it will contradict them. Therefore, the compiler seems to exist. In order to refute all these views, and in order to completely eliminate faults, it is completely contrary to what the teacher said well.
