The five are because they possess all abilities. As it is said: "Due to the differences in the minds of those to be tamed, there are distinctions between qualities and principal deities. The five wisdoms of the Buddhas possess all abilities." So it is said. From "At the time of drawing the mandala" to "cannot cause obstacles," it means that when one intends to start drawing a mandala, if obstacles arise caused by earth, water, wind, fire, and space, then at that time, one should meditate on oneself as Vajra Hum (Tibetan: རྡོ་རྗེ་ཧཱུཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: वज्र हूँ, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: vajra hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Vajra Hum), with three faces and six arms, a black body, three eyes, the right and left faces being white and red, holding a vajra, wheel, lotus, bell, jewel, and sword, the left arm extended, fangs bared. With feet placed like a vajra hook, circling in all directions of the mandala's ground, reciting mantras, and mentally meditating that all phenomena are emptiness. Then, one should visualize the assembly of Rakshasas arising from one's hand gestures burning those obstacles, turning them into ashes, and visualize the ashes being carried away by a strong wind. In that way, the mandala will be completed peacefully, as it is taught. From "Placing the Vajra Vase" to "placing it accordingly," it means that for a yogi diligently practicing the Tantra of the Union of Reality, if the vases for accomplishing all activities are not assembled, then the number of vases for the mandala is thirty-two, the vases for the Tathagatas and Goddesses are nine, and the vases for all activities are ten, not less than this number. As it is said in summary, those vases should also have long necks and wide bellies, with branches of black and rootless trees, and necks adorned with cloth, possessing Hasadeva (Tibetan: ཧ་ས་དེ་བ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हसदेव, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: hasadeva, Chinese literal meaning: Hasa Deva), and the essence of the five medicines such as kaṇṭakārī, bṛhatī, bhālāmuta, daṇḍotpala. Similarly, they should possess the five jewels such as indranīla (Tibetan: ཨིནྡྲ་ནཱི་ལ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: इन्द्रनील, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: indranīla, Chinese literal meaning: Indra blue), marakata (Tibetan: མར་གད།, Sanskrit Devanagari: मरकत, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: marakata, Chinese literal meaning: Emerald), padmarāga (Tibetan: པདྨ་རཱ་ག།, Sanskrit Devanagari: पद्मराग, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: padmarāga, Chinese literal meaning: Lotus Red), vaiḍūrya (Tibetan: བཻཌཱུཪྻ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: वैडूर्य, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: vaiḍūrya, Chinese literal meaning: Beryl), and crystal. They should be filled with fragrant water, containing the five grains such as barley, sesame, black lentils, soybeans, and wheat. Below, there should be vessels filled with rice, yogurt, curd, wood apple, nutmeg, turmeric, and betel nut.

The ground adorned, offerings of various kinds offered, decorated with garlands of flowers, banners, and music, properly fumigated, marked with the letters of the Dharma of their respective families, it is instructed that they should be placed in the east and other directions, intermediate directions, front, and right side. Thus, with the phrase "After the mandala is thus completed," the words of the tantra are elaborated, and all the rituals of the mandala are completed. Then, with the phrase "Then perform the fire offering," in order to please the deities of mantra, and likewise to pacify the obstructing forces, and for the sake of peace for the assembly of disciples and the king, etc., and for sentient beings, the fire offering should be performed, meaning that from the mouth of the fire deity of commitment, the fire deity of wisdom and the mandala deities should be pleased. As it is said: Without recitation, mantra is not accomplished, without fire offering, fruit does not arise, therefore in all activities, the activity of fire offering is most excellent. How does rain fall in times of scarcity? The parched are satisfied by rain, likewise all sentient beings are satisfied by fire offering. Thus it is said. Among them, the fire pit is: Unlimited according to the capacity of those to be tamed, the distinctions of lineage are fivefold, the distinctions of activity are fourfold, the fire pit should be determined as such. The peaceful fire pit is round and white, the increasing fire pit is square and yellow, the subjugating fire pit is triangular and red, the destroying fire pit is bow-shaped and black. The order of these, as it should be, the length and height are one cubit, half a cubit, two cubits, and four cubits, and the remainder are the same. The four-cubit one, the two-cubit one, the eight-cubit one, the four-cubit one, thus it is said. With the measure of one cubit, raise four fingers above the fire pit, and in height and length, the opening is four fingers, it should be made like that. Likewise eight and sixteen, thus it is said. All fire pits should have openings that are the same as themselves. Outside all the fire pits, draw a square and a mandala with four doors, and then on the eastern door, etc., draw the emblems of the iron hook, the lasso, the iron chain, and the bell. On the eastern cloth, draw a lotus, the tender branches of the forest, a rosary, and a gundi, and the skin of a black antelope. The southern cloth
