Now it arises from what follows. The meaning of the word "chapter" has already been explained. The second chapter from the commentary on the "Lamp Illuminating" ends. The third chapter, a detailed explanation of the Samadhi called "Vajra Arrangement". Starting with the phrase "by two kinds of yogis," the third chapter on deities will be taught. Because after obtaining emptiness from the chapter on the mind of enlightenment, one should meditate on the wheel of deities through the generation stage. Similarly, first, having perfected the union and the mandala of the supreme victor, one should practice subtle yoga in order to clarify the supreme victor of action. In order for the yogi of the completion stage to practice subtle yoga, the sequence of vajra recitation should be taught. The two kinds of yogis refer to the yogis of the generation stage and the completion stage. Practicing two subtle yogas means that the yogi of the generation stage practices subtle yoga such as the vajra, and the yogi of the completion stage should also meditate on subtle bindus at the secret place, heart, and tip of the nose of the face, with the distinctions of the types of desire, hatred, and ignorance. Among them, the yogi of the desire type should meditate on the bindu of the mind of enlightenment flowing from the emptiness of the seventy-two thousand channels, at the tip of the vajra jewel or at the tip of the lotus center, a bindu the size of a mustard seed. The yogi of the hatred type should gather the parts of the three letters and meditate on the bindu of the seed syllable of the heart Vajradhara in the heart, and practice the bindu of mantra. The one of the ignorance type should meditate on the form of the bindu at the tip of the conventional nose, with the distinctions of right, left, lower, and slow flowing from the four mandalas, a collection of manifested rays of light. Similarly, the yogis of Ratnasambhava and Amoghasiddhi should also meditate on the bindu in the middle of the eyebrows and the navel, which is to realize subtle yoga. The phrase "all Tathagatas" refers to the five aggregates and the form body, etc., which gather them. Those that closely gather them

In short, the vajra of body, speech, and mind is the great Vajradhara, the sixth one. All the Tathagatas, such as Akshobhya, etc., are those who first practice mudras well, and from this, the sequence of mantras is drawn out, adorning the samaya mandala and the sadhana mandala, being the essence of the thirty-two deities, the Tathagatas, goddesses, bodhisattvas, and wrathful deities. "They for the sake of sentient beings" means that they act for the benefit of beings. "Spreading in all ten directions" means expanding outward from the dharma-arising place of the touchable Vajra Mother, going to the ten directions in order to enter the Buddha-fields such as Abhirati. "That which pours down the rain of dharma" is just a slight indication, for the sake of stability, maturation, liberation, and entering the Buddha-field. "That which is distinguished by the various thoughts of sentient beings" means that those with attachment and so on, following the thoughts of sentient beings, with the distinction of female and male, and joyful, peaceful, and fierce forms, and with enchanting and other postures, adorn with the distinction of bodies possessing these postures, this is the word called "adornment". "Arranged to show many bodies" means to show one's own body with three faces and various lineages. Because the great Vajradhara alone is the nature of the dharmadhatu, yet appears as five colors, peaceful and fierce, male and female distinctions, but ultimately there is no difference, because it is the nature of clear light. "In such a way," etc., is a term for having the characteristics of the first union, etc. "Vajra is the Tathagatas," etc., means that like the vajra, it is indivisible by mirror-like wisdoms, etc. Here, the sound of Tathagata is only a slight indication, so goddesses, bodhisattvas, and wrathful deities born from that family should also be included. This is called "The chapter on the basis of Samadhi, thus said." Samadhi is with a basis. A chapter is a basis. Basis and having a basis.
