Thus. Similarly, dreams do not occur in this way. I have shown various things to beings in this way. The thought of 'I will see a dream' does not arise in beings, because if they want to see it, they cannot, and if they do not want to see it, they still see it. Likewise, the actions of the three realms, whether virtuous or non-virtuous, should be understood as being like dreams. It should be said that all beings are like the illusion created by a magician that is seen to be walking around. Similarly, the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas who abide in the ten directions, who have become the refuge for beings, each become the refuge for beings. That they are without self in dreams is the nature of delusion, and it should be known to be the same as that. If that is the case, who is the giver, who is the object of giving, from what does the fruit arise, what is meditation, and what is the fruit? In places such as the Blessed One, the wish-fulfilling jewel is the chief of all jewels, endowed with all qualities, because it fulfills all wishes. Whatever is desired by those who desire, such as gold, is given merely by thought, not by speech. The wealth and so on given by that jewel does not remain in the mind, it does not remain in the mind of the person who desires, because even if they desired it before, it does not exist. The statement that it does not abide in the wish-fulfilling jewel means that it does not give unless it is diligently sought, like a cow and so on. However, even if that is not the case, such a result will arise due to the power of conditions. Likewise, knowing the example of the wish-fulfilling jewel, all the Tathagatas lead all beings to attain the fruit of unsurpassed enlightenment by teaching them the Dharma. They also have no conceptual thoughts, because their nature is non-conceptual. They also do not cause them to attain it, because they have already attained it. However, in order to remove sudden defilements, there are those who make offerings and those who receive offerings. Therefore, everything is already enlightened, because it abides in its own nature, and thus it is.

Therefore, the departed ones and ordinary beings are not different in ultimate meaning. All dharmas are the perfections such as giving. For example, because of no self-nature, who gives and to whom is given is also like that. However, relying only on the aggregation of causes, a cotton cloth moistened with turmeric juice produces a fruit similar to it from the seed. Therefore, even if all dharmas are empty, the relationship between karma and result can arise through the reasoning just mentioned. The Buddhadharma is the dharmas of the path to enlightenment, and these dharmas can also enable all sentient beings to attain Buddhahood through the distinction between worldly and transmundane paths. However, in ultimate meaning, they are also non-existent. The Buddhas who are the nature of emptiness of all things, enter into non-conceptual samadhi, and like wish-fulfilling jewels, manifest activities such as benefiting all sentient beings. As it is said in the scriptures: "A man is like a wish-fulfilling jewel." and so on. Next, in the phrases "after that" etc., all the Tathagatas, such as Akshobhya, etc., rejoiced at realizing the Dharma nature, opened their eyes, and asked the Great Vajradhara: "How wonderful! Blessed One! This is truly amazing! Like the realm of space, all dharmas, whether they are giving, etc., or aggregates, etc.; the Buddhadharmas, whether they are the divisions of enlightenment, etc., whatever follows, is similar to it, has its nature, and has a connection with the fruit, we have realized this, without any doubt." Next, in the phrases "after that" etc., all the Bodhisattvas, with love, etc., prostrated to the feet of the Blessed One, the lord of the mandala, and asked: "All mantras, mainly peaceful and wrathful, what siddhis are accomplished by them, such as pacification, etc.; and the gathering, that is, the wheel of the mandala of the deity being meditated upon, where do they all abide?" The meaning is that the Blessed One has already declared that all dharmas have no self-nature, therefore.
