For the sake of attainment, blessed by Amitayus, performing activities in accordance with the lineage. For the sake of personal practice, adorned with various garments and jewels, the Sugatas emanating from the body's light fill the three thousand worlds. Furthermore, either twenty-five faces endowed with hand gestures, or four faces with fifty hands, or eight faces with four hands, the lotuses on the right side possess vajras, wheels, wish-fulfilling jewels, swords, tridents, staffs, wooden pestles, the eight auspicious symbols, and so forth, while the lotuses on the left side are merely lotuses. Through these, the mandala of the lineage is expanded, and the lotus dakinis subdue through illusion, demonstrating various skillful means, and establishing them in the enlightenment of the Buddha. The characteristics of the half-lotus posture in which the father and mother are in union are: with the combination of right and left, the half-lotus posture is maintained. By assuming the king's half-lotus posture, all suffering is eliminated. On a lotus petal seat, the right leg is extended and pressed on the ground, while the left leg is bent in a half-lotus posture, residing in union with the mother. This is the explanation of the mudra called "Lotus King Abiding." Furthermore, the characteristics of the great mudras of the retinue goddesses are: with the arrogant left hand, holding the red lotus as desired. And so forth, it is said. These eight goddesses hold lotuses in their left hands, matching their respective colors, residing and holding them in an elegant manner, while their right hands possess the dance postures of their respective mudras.

In order to show the first general characteristic of Mahamudra, the yogi is the Bhagavan, Vajrasattva Tathagata, in order to completely purify the supreme jewel, he abides in the mudra of the auspicious sun. In order to make those who abide in the path of stinginess and have the defilement of immoral precepts rejoice in the four kinds of generosity that completely purify the three circles. Whoever has the form and splendor of the sun is called as such. Now is the main characteristic, first is the way of abiding in the peaceful ritual: Akashagarbha pervades all directions, all hopes are fulfilled, women and other precious jewels are supreme, all precious jewels descend from the sky. Whoever has the body of space, abides like a golden mountain, fulfills the hopes of sentient beings from all directions, and rains down the seven treasures such as queen jewels, is Akashagarbha. Especially in order to subdue the pure assembly, the wrathful ritual is shown: For those who are extremely fierce and violent, peace is not beneficial.
