That is the meaning. It is said in the Glorious Guhyasamaja: "Without things, there is no meditation. Meditation itself is non-meditation. Thus, things and non-things, meditation will not become an object." Thus it is said. Therefore, summarizing, how to meditate on change, therefore not focusing, is the meaning. Then, in the Completion Stage, is meditation only cessation? Answer: It is not cessation. No. Then, what is it like? What it is like will be explained. Thus, after eliminating the manifest clinging to what should be meditated on in the ultimate sense, etc., because it is desired to make forms, etc., appear clearly, it is said, such as "sister," etc. How, that is, because the distinctions of white, etc., are different, completely corresponding to forms, etc., the senses and mutually beneficial, acting and being acted upon, are related to things, and only an impure mind can see them. A pure mind cannot, because in the ultimate sense, the senses, objects, and their consciousness are all without self-nature. Similarly, it will be so in the future. The so-called "three kinds" are the distinctions of mind, consciousness, and non-attention. One who possesses such a combination is one who possesses the Mahamudra Yoga. "Completely purified" refers to smelling, that is, odor. "Non-seeing" means not being seen and not being known. Therefore, from odors, etc., attachment, hatred, etc., do not arise. The so-called "taste of form" means there is no taste of form, because there is no tongue and taste. With mind, that is, with the mind's approximation, the body's senses give rise to pleasure in the object of touch, and the approximation of suffering and equanimity are enjoyed. What is that like? The mind sense is the mind itself. From the approximation of pleasure arises suffering, joy, protection, and the enjoyment of equanimity. What is that like? This is how it is connected. Then, how are the five objects, such as form, etc., and their five dependent senses, and their consciousnesses, established as the nature of the five wisdoms, and how are the object, sense, and sixth consciousness unspeakable? The mind sense is not separate like the senses of the eyes, etc., but is only the consciousness of the immediately preceding moment.

Able to generate the subsequent differences of consciousness, therefore it is called the mind faculty, its distinctions being mind and mental factors, forms and their objects, and the consciousness of mind. Thus, those without conceptualization are the mind faculty and its objects, which are the nature of the five sense consciousnesses. Mental factors are also not different from the mind. As it is said: Mind and mental factors are not different. Those with conceptualization are the nature of mind consciousness. Mind consciousness is: severance and connection, freedom from attachment, decay and death, transference, birth, etc., are considered to be only mind consciousness. Because of this reason, because it is the main one, it is the enjoyer, meaning that it enjoys as a companion. It is not established as the nature of wisdom. Supreme wisdom, previously established, is only present in mind consciousness. That which is said to be mind is used here for the purpose of analyzing all cities of objects. In this way, through this connection, the eighteen elements are spoken of, and the collection of only those is the twelve sources, and the very collection is the aggregates. The three realms are also only those. That is also only mind-only, as it is said in the Lankavatara Sutra: O sons of the Victorious Ones, for example, the three realms are only mind. The noble Nagarjuna also said in the Bodhicittavivarana: To reverse the clinging to self, the aggregates, elements, etc. are taught, that is also only mind, the great fortunate ones can destroy. That mind is also conventional truth, as it is said there: All these are only mind, as taught by the Buddhas, to dispel the fear of children, that is not the ultimate truth. If the mind is not the ultimate truth, then how is it? It is said that the two come from observation, meaning that it comes from observing the nature of things and non-things. So, is the mind of the observer the ultimate truth? It is said that observation, meaning that it enters into observation, therefore, that observation, which is the consciousness of the observer, is there, the two
