Having attained the wisdom of the other shore, I prostrate and praise the Lotus Dakini. Vajra purity does not consume demons, All wishes are completely fulfilled. Born from the very nature of the Buddha, I prostrate and praise the various Dakinis. After praising in this way, then circumambulate, holding incense with the five ambrosias in hand, insert the right phurba into the ground, and pray thus: Heruka, supreme glorious hero! I prostrate and take refuge in the King of Knowledge. For the sake of offering to you, and for the sake of loving the disciples, Lord, with your nature of compassion, please accomplish the mandala ground. Blessed One, I am respectful, therefore you should grant permission. For the sake of accomplishing the wheel of beings, Buddha, the loving protector, as well as the Bodhisattva Arhats, and whatever other mantra deities there may be, as well as the gods who protect the world, and whatever powerful spirits there may be, and whatever beings with vajra eyes who delight in the teachings, please consider me. Vajra so-and-so, I request the supreme Heruka arising mandala, with whatever offerings I can, for the sake of benefiting beings, if I accomplish myself, please remember me and my disciples with compassion, and please bless the mandala and all its retinue. Praying in this way three times is abiding in the deity preparation stage.
