Even when reciting mantras for the sake of enjoying the pleasures of samsara, it is taught that one should recite only with the mind, without uttering sounds or words. It is like this: Those who enjoy the pleasures of samsara, Having abandoned the voiceless words, Should engage in mental recitation. This is to show the eight signs. As the Bhagavan said: Unmoving, constant, abiding in means. And so on. Among them, unmoving means it will not perish. Constant means it will not be interrupted. Abiding in means means that these two abide in the nature of means. Constant means the cause of the Tathagata. The Dharmadhatu itself means the cause of the noble Dharma. Constantly subtle means that even in the later five moments, it transcends the senses. Undefiled means without afflictions, because it is naturally luminous. Thus, what kind of mind possesses such qualities? It causes wisdom to merge into consciousness. Because skillful means and wisdom are non-dual. The mind sees the path to enlightenment, as it is said: By the consciousness of the object of wisdom, The stages of enlightenment will be seen. So it is said. The eight signs of the path to enlightenment are spoken of, like a lamp everywhere. And so on. Among them, like a lamp everywhere, it is said: Like a lamp everywhere, The first sign is seen. This means that in the first wisdom, the yogi burns away the inverted afflictions like a lamp of wisdom burning, because it is small. It appears like the flame of a firefly. The second sign is observed, which means that in the second wisdom, it revolves like a firefly, because it is medium. White dust is another spark. This means that in the third wisdom, the yogi sees the fire of wisdom radiating towards the white side. Because it is huge. As soon as it is seen, it immediately clears away the obscurations of afflictions, becomes a noble being, and thus realizes the path of seeing. Then the signs of abandoning the obscurations of knowledge are spoken of: The enjoyments of the desire realm gods, In the fourth, one sees with the mind. This means that from the fourth wisdom, the yogi sees the attachment to the five desires of the desire realm.

The term "liberated from the nine gates of the middle class" is used. The gods of the higher realms of form also, in the fifth, are seen by the mind. This means that with the fifth wisdom, one is liberated from the nine gates of the great, small, and middle desires of the four meditations of the form realm. The sixth is the enjoyment of the formless. This means that with the sixth wisdom, one is liberated from the desires of the four formless realms. The seventh is the realm of Dharma. This means that with the seventh wisdom, the yogi who is free from the desires of the three realms, having abandoned all obscurations, abides in the complete accomplishment of the Dharmakaya of Nirvana, becoming free from grasping. The eighth is pure self-joy. The yogi attains the fruit of Buddhahood. This means that with the eighth wisdom, the yogi who has thus realized the Dharmakaya, due to past aspirations and compassion, for the sake of sentient beings, does not abide in Nirvana, but with the wisdom of the pure world, perfects the Sambhogakaya or Nirmanakaya, freely benefiting sentient beings, without the fruit of meaning. Thus, the differences of wisdom are spoken of, and the differences of yogis, the former and the latter, are refuted. Now, the Bhagavan, wishing to show the true meaning of the stupa, said: "With the form of true view," and so on. Therein, "With the form of true view" means that the form is the first of beings, meditating on the true meaning of emptiness. Why is this so? "Because one truly knows that, one diligently engages in practice." This means that if one does not know the meaning of true emptiness, then meditation, practice, and so on are flawed. Then, the Bhagavan, showing the means of meditating on emptiness, said: "Meditate on the moon in the heart," and so on. Meditate on the syllable Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) with the crescent moon in the heart, and with its rays, meditate on the aggregates and elements as empty. This means that the Samadhi of emptiness is concluded, so it is said: "At the end, the seed syllable of the moon, the wise should meditate on." This means that the aggregates, elements, and all
