Therefore, it can be inferred that it exists. Otherwise, actions such as virtuous and non-virtuous deeds would not manifest in the body. To explain the second argument, words such as "sense faculties" are mentioned. "The minds of all sense faculties" refers to the various consciousnesses. "The basis" refers to the various objects. "One should know the characteristic" means that the various consciousnesses comprehend the various objects, and this is because of that argument. To clarify this point and to establish the term "king of the senses," words such as "the king of the senses enjoys" are mentioned. What is enjoyed? It is the various pleasures, and pleasures and so on. Why? Because through the use of objects and so on, that is, the close use of objects and senses, one experiences pleasures and so on. One should cultivate wisdom in the body, therefore, it is inferred that it exists, and it can also be called the king of the senses. Now, in order to show that all of these are included in consciousness, words such as "mind" are mentioned. If water is different, it refers to being different from consciousness. Why does water not appear when one dies? This is to show the measure with harm, death refers to the dead body. The non-appearance of water refers to being invisible. Why refers to the word of discrimination, it will only become the object.

In order to understand clearly, one should rely on a virtuous spiritual friend. "The wisdom of objects and senses, bound by austerity." This statement is an examination of the consciousness of practitioners bound in samsara. Regarding objects, the entry of senses and consciousness, bound by austerity, thus binding them to samsara, is the meaning. Austerity refers to causing suffering to body and mind through asceticism and penance, etc. So, by what means of binding can one be liberated from samsara? "Born alone" and so on are mentioned. "Dwelling in the center" refers to consciousness, because it dwells in the heart. "Egg-born" refers to its abode being an egg, bound in the place of heart-blood resembling an egg. The yoga of binding is taught: "Inflow and outflow, with the power of mind, encircle the moving object." Among these, "inflow and outflow" refers to the exhalation and inhalation of breath. "Mind" refers to being accompanied by mind. "Moving object" refers to wind and consciousness, which are unstable, and should be connected with "binding." Why? Because it is encircling, through being accustomed to the wind of inflow and outflow. Regarding "binding" etc., "Lotus seat" is a seat of bliss, referring to the lotus in the heart and the lotus of the source of Dharma. "Therefore" refers to that reason, which is the samadhi preceded by emptiness etc. Symbolizing the nature of consciousness means knowing that everything is merely the appearance of mind. How does it transform into the yoga of the deity? The object of "nature" is mentioned, meaning that through the union of skillful means and wisdom, the yoga of the deity transforms into a real object. Now, the ritual of becoming accustomed to the inflow and outflow of breath is taught: "At the navel" etc. "At the navel, water-tree flower." The "should be practiced" of this statement is omitted. Next, it is explained that at the navel, on the lotus like a water-tree flower, one should meditate on the letter A. "Also raise up at the heart." This statement refers to above that, at the heart, there is also an eight-petaled lotus with the petals facing downwards. It is always the gate of emptiness.

That which is called "slightly opening the lotus." The wise should always recite. That which is called "showing the face downwards." The rest is easy to understand. That which is called "the union of wisdom and consciousness," means writing Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,hum,hūṃ,吽) at the place of the upper lotus. Regarding "the rain of the east direction of the union, the six fingers corresponding to it," the term "union" refers to the navel lotus. The term "east direction" refers to the rain above it. The term "six fingers" refers to the remaining part, which is the flame's radiance, burning upwards to six fingers. The term "corresponding to it" means benefiting the heart lotus. Regarding "the rain of the west direction of the knot," it means below the navel knot. The five fingers are the same as before. Regarding "in that field, the seed and the gathering of light cause the sprout to burn," it means: ༄། Just as seeds and sprouts grow on the earth, similarly, from the earth of the navel knot, the fire sprout of the seed of the letter Aṃ (ཨཾ,aṃ,aṃ,嗡) burns to six fingers and so on. Regarding "the radiance of that seed encircles like a water tree," it means meditating on the seed letter Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,hum,hūṃ,吽) of the upper lotus, also with radiance. Some say, "The water tree flower exists in the navel," referring to the heart lotus, which is also a water tree flower, previously slightly opened, facing downwards, and existing above the navel, close to the navel, therefore it is called existing in the navel. Possessing filaments, it is also an eight-petaled lotus, and the radiance of the letter Aṃ (ཨཾ,aṃ,aṃ,嗡) existing in its center slightly opens the heart lotus. The rest is said to be as previously explained. In order to show that the subtle radiance of the letter Aṃ (ཨཾ,aṃ,aṃ,嗡) stimulates the letter Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,hum,hūṃ,吽) residing in the heart lotus, it is said, "The seed of the five expansions, open from below the abdomen." The seed of the five expansions is the letter Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,hum,hūṃ,吽). "Below the abdomen" refers to being located in the navel. "Open" refers to the lotus slightly opening and stimulating Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,hum,hūṃ,吽). "Adorned with eight petals" refers to the eight petals of the two lotuses. Among them, on the petals of the lower lotus, starting from the east, write the four letters Suṃ (སུཾ,sum,suṃ,松), Kṣuṃ (ཀྵུཾ,kṣum,kṣuṃ,雄), Yuṃ (ཡུཾ,yum,yuṃ,永), and Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,hum,hūṃ,吽) in that order, counterclockwise. In the center is Aṃ (ཨཾ,aṃ,aṃ,嗡). Powerful.
