Will liberate sentient beings in the southern direction. The meaning of "will liberate" is that, as previously mentioned, through the karaṇa accompanied by meditation and recitation, sentient beings residing in the southern direction will be liberated. To demonstrate the karaṇa for the western direction, the words "western direction" etc. are moved. "The goddess should look towards the west" is easy to understand. The meaning of "western direction" is that it is connected to the purpose of liberating sentient beings in the west. The meaning of "equal footsteps" is that the distance between the goddess's two feet is about one cubit. Regarding "one side of the vajra should press down on the right thigh," vajra refers to Vajrasattva, and "one side" refers to being on one side. "Right thigh" refers to the goddess's right thigh, which is pressed down by the left hand of skillful means. Regarding "embracing each other from behind the neck," the right hand of skillful means rests on the knee, embracing from the neck of wisdom, and the two of wisdom embrace from the waist of skillful means. Regarding "the tongue of the bell should be rolled up and touch the tongue of the vajra," during the action, the tongue of wisdom touches and stirs the tongue of skillful means. Regarding "having combined in this way, both recite," "in this way" means to approach meditation. "Combine" refers to karaṇa. "Both recite" refers to reciting the mantra, which are the three activities. Now, in order to show the karaṇa for the purpose of liberating sentient beings residing in the northern direction, "vajra" etc. are mentioned. "Vajra" refers to Vajrasattva. "Center" is connected to the two words before and after, Vajrasattva sits equally in the center of the two hands of wisdom, and the two hands of Vajrasattva embrace from the center of the waist of wisdom. Regarding "the two hands of the bell should also be placed between the roots of the ears," the two hands of wisdom pinch the roots of the two ears of skillful means with their fingernails, so that the semen will remain slightly. Regarding "the lips of both are completely joined, and the nectar of that should be drunk," during the action, the lips of both are joined together, and by kissing each other, the nectar from above

Or drinking, or kissing each other, thereby descending the nectar, which is the mind of enlightenment, and tasting the flavor of that bliss. In order to show the recitation of mantras as before, it is said, "The yogi," etc. "Playing with the vajra bell" refers to the meditation of method and wisdom, and the demonstration of Karana. Thus, in order to show the dedication of making all sentient beings abide in happiness with the virtue arising from the three kinds of actions, it is said, "All sentient beings," etc. "From whatever path they go, may they attain Buddhahood" means that by going from the path of suchness of the mind, which is endowed with happiness and harmlessness, may they attain Buddhahood, that is, Alas! Sentient beings, experience the path of suchness of the mind that will lead to the attainment of Buddhahood! Up to this point. In order to show that the yoga of the earth goddess should be performed in the manner of an instant when method and wisdom are united, it is said, "Yoga in the manner of an instant," etc. "Connecting the bell with the deity" means connecting oneself with the deity Vajrasattva, and connecting the wisdom bell with the goddess, etc., arising from yoga in the manner of an instant, knowing that it is endowed with mantras and mudras in the manner of an instant, and the yogi who is skilled in the rituals of method should meditate and contemplate. In order to show that the armor of the nature of Yogini should be established on both one's own body and the body of wisdom, it is said, "Letters," etc. "All places" refers to the places such as the throat. "That is the deity" because it is the nature of the eight goddesses. Self
