Fourth Chapter Fourth Chapter Now, in order to show the union of wisdom and means in a completely pure way with the vajra and bell, therefore, "non-duality," etc., are spoken. The so-called "non-dual union" is the union of means and wisdom without duality. The essence is supreme, and it is related to "please listen." "Speaking with a non-dual name," where "name" refers to designation, and "speaking" refers to using it to speak. "How should the union begin?" refers to how it should be practiced. Thus, for the essence of non-dual union, how should it be spoken with a non-dual name? What is its nature? How should it be practiced? This is its meaning. Answering, for "non-duality," etc., the so-called "non-dual union" has already been explained. "Thatness" refers to its own nature, connected with "listen." "Truth" refers to non-inversion. Speaking of thatness: "Vajra, bell, and mudra, each holding that which is." Among them, "that which is" refers to the sound of prajnaparamita, which is inseparable from the conventional and ultimate, completely pure and inseparable, and such vajra and bell should be held. Holding refers to practice, thus, one should practice the sound of prajnaparamita, completely pure, and the thatness of vajra and bell, which is inseparable from the conventional truth. The so-called "mudra" refers to the wisdom of the bell being completely pure, that is, the two wisdoms of outer and inner. "Each" refers to means, that is, the two differences of outer and inner. Or, mudra refers to non-dual union, that is, the union of outer male and female action mudras, the union of inner dharmata and things, and the union of wisdom's compassion and emptiness. Thatness is that which is, and holding each is holding as it is. Or, vajra and bell are outer means and wisdom. Thatness is mudra, for the sake of sealing each with joy. Therefore, the bell.

It is marked above with a vajra. Or the mudra is the bliss arising from the union of those two, which is the nature of co-emergence. In order to indicate all of that, "thatness" etc. are mentioned. "I" means one's own body, because it depends on other wisdom. "Thatness" is vajra, because it unites inseparably with wisdom. The term vajra is also used to express skillful means, because it unites equally and inseparably with wisdom, meaning it is in accordance with the dharma of vajra. Alternatively, "or" means many. "Ja" means beautiful, because this skillful means makes many wisdoms beautiful, therefore it is vajra. Secondly, "I" means conventional truth. "Thatness," if analyzed, is vajra because it is the ultimate of ultimate truth, and it is called vajra because it has an indivisible nature, that is, reality itself. Similarly, ultimate truth is also inseparable from conventional truth. One should understand non-duality through thatness. Therefore, "of dharma" etc. are mentioned. Among them, "dharma" means aggregates etc., because impermanence etc. hold their own characteristics. The bell is the nature of dharma that is naturally pure, because it accomplishes everything. Alternatively, dharma is also dharma, and the bell is also a bell, so it is the bell of dharma, that is, the nature of dharma. "Thatness" is the goddess, because this reality makes all dharmas clear to yogis. "Joined union mudra," "joined" means the union of one's own body with the action mudra, and the union of ultimate truth with conventional truth. "Thatness" is the mudra, because they intertwine inseparably with each other. Those indicate extreme non-duality. Therefore, it is said, "skillful means dissolves into that." "Into that" refers to wisdom, that is, in the wisdom of the action mudra, my body dissolves in an embracing manner, and in the mind of co-emergent wisdom, the conventional mind or self and other dissolve without distinction, and emptiness
