And, Du-ö (Tibetan), Du-ö Chenpo (Tibetan, Great Du-ö), Tsawa (Tibetan, Hot), Rabtu Tsab (Tibetan, Extremely Hot), Narmepa (Tibetan, Uninterrupted), etc., plus the eight cold hells, are called the eight great hot hells. Thus, these twenty places are called "Desirers." "Constantly acting as desired" means that in those places, consciousness takes a body and enjoys the fruits according to the deeds done. The so-called "thus" refers to taking birth in the three realms. The so-called "human" refers to humans, etc. The so-called "achieving according to one's desires, etc." refers to the consciousness taking bodies in different places due to the power of karma. The so-called "things that liberate from that" refers to the methods of liberation from that cycle of existence. "The yogi with consciousness, achieves going by going together" means that the so-called "consciousness" refers to the alaya consciousness. The so-called "together" refers to the conditions that act together, that is, the cause of karma drawing near and the conditions of afflictions acting together, thereby achieving going, that is, after the previous fruition has ceased, the consciousness takes a body of fruition in other goings.

Saying "please explain the occurrence of such things" means please be free from doubt. The term "moreover" implies dependence on others. Wisdom, consciousness, the nature of things, etc., regarding these, the term "wisdom" is related to the question of "what is wisdom?" Among these, the term "wisdom" means that it is wisdom because of thorough understanding, it is innate wisdom. What is thoroughly understood? It is consciousness, the nature of things. Things, such as form, etc., precisely because these are to be understood, it is consciousness, it is their nature. How is it understood? It is said "not understood," because the nature of the grasped and the grasper is not understood, therefore it is not understood. Precisely because of this, consciousness, etc., are mentioned. The term "bi" refers to objects. Because its suchness is understood, it is consciousness, it is wisdom. Because it is known individually by oneself, it is wisdom, the characteristic is its nature. In some texts it says: "By what consciousness is the thing of existence," meaning that consciousness is the thing of existence, because duality always arises, how should a yogi view the characteristic of non-dual wisdom? This is to be combined. The answer is, like crystal, etc., the term like crystal means that it is pure in nature, because it appears in many forms. Then do these forms fully exist? It is said "the mind has no faults or virtues," it is free from the nature of the grasped and the grasper. Or rather, it is not the form and thing of incompatibility and antidote. Then how does it appear? It is said "when encountering objects, it is stained by the faults of existence," the term encountering objects refers to appearing as duality. The term existence refers to the habitual tendencies of clinging to things, because from here duality appears and arises. The term fault refers to afflictions, etc., the all-afflictive, because it makes the mind weary and makes it deluded. In some texts it says: "Entering and encountering objects, it is stained by the faults of existence," object refers to form, etc. Entering refers to eye consciousness, etc. Encountering refers to

Connected to whose senses, etc., are those forms. By whose power? It is said by the fault of existence, by the power of the habits of proliferation. If that is so, how can it become liberation? It is said, "By what," etc. "By what" means by what wisdom. The reality of existence" refers to the nature of samsara. "Peaceful" refers to liberation, samsara and liberation being inseparable. "Abiding in the object" refers to the entry of the apprehended and the apprehender. To show that, it is said, "Combine as it abides." Relying on objects, forms, etc., and the senses of the eye, etc., the realms of consciousness enter, showing the eighteen realms that combine the apprehended and the apprehender, just as objects and object-possessors appear. "Torment like a son and a disciple" means that like a son and a disciple turning back from a non-place, entering the place of knowledge and grasping as if holding. Those, by what wisdom, turn back the manifest clinging to grasping the nature of samsara, etc., and infuse it into the reality of clear light, knowing the reality of samsara as it is, thereby showing that the mind itself is the nature of liberation. Thus it is said, "Apart from samsara, there is no other liberation." And in others, it is said, "Whatever is at the end of samsara, that is the end of liberation." And the teacher Nagarjuna also said, "Samsara and liberation are not two, completely knowing existence is called liberation." Therefore, it is so. In some texts, it says, "Turning back from abiding in the object, combine as it abides, torment in the door of the son." At that time, turning back from abiding in the object means turning back clinging to the apprehended, etc. "Combine as it abides" means in the place of co-emergence. To show that, it is said, "In the door of the aperture," which means grasping the mind of enlightenment within the vajra jewel. Then what should be done? In its center," etc.
