DTG021 0003.Explanation of Chapter One..g2.0f

English

Therefore, merely by not being accustomed to the path, all sentient beings become Buddhas. Whatever is the very nature of something, there is no need to strive for the means to manifest it. Even if it is inherently so, it appears as if it is different from the perfectly clear nature because it is obscured by the dimness of beginningless false conceptualizations in the mundane world. If it is said that just as the perfect clarity of the sky is obscured by clouds and the like, it is not so. Because in both, existing in the same dharmata, it is unreasonable for there to be obscurers and obscured. There is no such thing as saying that the light and hardness existing in a jewel are obscured and obscuring. Those contradictions are only reasonable for phenomena and entities that are different. What is called obscured is the nature that is not in accordance with Buddhahood. Whatever exists in something that is not in accordance with it does not completely abandon its own function in it. Even if it is not certain whether it burns, it will not become non-burning. As long as it exists in the body of a child and so on, the jewel, mantra, and medicine that are not in accordance with it will also perform their own functions. Furthermore, even if conceptualizations obscure the seeing of the true meaning, so that darkness itself becomes the obscurer, how can Buddhahood be obscured by the unequaled light? Light is not to be obscured by darkness, because light is what dispels darkness. If that is so, then there is never any need to remove obscurations and practice. If it is said that after removing the stains, how can the obscuration and antidote of the mind, these three, exist simultaneously in the same thing at the same time? Because the action on oneself is contradictory. If the times are different, then it is even more unreasonable, because when one exists, the other cannot exist. If you say so, then all of these are meaningless, because the meaning of what is said is not the scope of reasoning. What is said is also found in the Ornament of the Sutras.

Therefore. The support and the uncertain, the non-pervasive, the conventional truth and the protector, are considered to be speculation based on children. Therefore, that is not its object. Thus it is said. It is also said that. In the glorious Hevajra Abhisamaya, it is said: All the common tantras, are not to be destroyed by all reasons. It is to be grasped by faith alone, not by eyes and hands. Thus it is said. Also in the Uttaratantra of the Great Vehicle, it is said: In the ultimate meaning of the self-born, one enters here only by faith. In the center of the blazing sun, the blind will not be able to see. Thus it is said. Saraha's feet also said: It is not the realm of the mind, nor the realm of speech. The words of reality taught by the guru enter for a long time. That is gradually compassion and other white qualities, bestowing the state of self-nature in the heart of faith. Thus it is said. Thus, is the extreme entry of the Vedas and so on also not contradictory? No, because it is also not in accordance with the measure of the transcendent. Here it is impossible, because it has been experienced by the oral instructions that have come from the lineage of the gurus, how can it be compared? Faith is also here, the one who has it, the one who has qualities, and the one who has power, with the trustworthy measure, the aspect of faith, joy, and desire, not like the reasoning of other fools.

English

There is no fault in abiding itself, because it is pervaded by the two accumulations. Omniscience also does not exist in just one aspect. Like the knowledge of a young girl's Pratīsenā (Sanskrit) and the knowledge of a true dream, the yogi's wisdom knows without distortion the things that exist in all times and directions. But that is not just one aspect, otherwise some things like long ago and the past would not be known. Two aspects are also impossible for the Bhagavan, because the cause of producing different fruits is impossible. The two kinds of pervasive afflictions are its cause, and that has also been abandoned by the Bhagavan. However, that is also diminished by the power of unwanted conditions, it is not desired, nor is it controlled by one's own will, because it is impossible to show the continuum of its emanation body. The third is not unwanted, because it is desired for the perfect enjoyment body that is without desire and constant. Therefore, in relation to the enjoyment body and the emanation body, the very thing to be produced is also desired. In relation to the Dharma body, it is the very thing to be attained. There is no occasion for the fault of how to speak. In this way, what has been said upwards for a while, the attainment is contradictory to being without difference. Among them, attainment means comprehension, not grasping with the hand. Even without difference, there is no fault. For whatever abides in whatever and becomes its nature, that is not necessarily certain, such as for momentary destruction and so on, as long as it is determined to exist, it is always considered uncertain. Or, are these spoken in relation to the ultimate truth or in relation to the conventional truth? If according to the former, there is not the slightest displeasure. Because in the ultimate truth, there is no object to be attained, no attainer, and no attainment, because all dharmas of the ultimate truth are without apprehension. If according to the latter, then it contradicts direct perception. Because from the changes of the mind, one's own nature exists in another way, it will also appear in another way, such as when bile is disturbed or when Datura (Sanskrit) and so on are eaten, even if one's own body and so on do not rotate, they will appear to rotate, and how
