The mind is not one's own mind. One's own mind is happiness itself. Another's mind is not happiness. Separated from objects and aspects, one's own bliss is experienced by the mind. Because others have no mental bliss, bliss cannot be shown to others. Thus it is said. Therefore, here, first of all, the appearance of one's own mind, this eye of the Thus-Gone One, is free from the obscuration of knowledge, and it is said in the Sutras that one will be able to see a thousand yojanas. Therefore, the flesh eye, the divine eye, the Buddha eye, the wisdom eye, and the knowledge eye are also like this: they arise through the power of the yogi placing the mind in the Avadhuti (藏文:ཨ་ཝ་དྷཱུ་ཏཱི,梵文天城体:अवाधूती,梵文罗马拟音:avadhati,汉语字面意思:不退转者) and meditating. Therefore, there is nothing whatsoever that the All-Knowing One has not seen or does not know. Thus, when a yogi places twenty-one thousand six hundred seventy-five life-force breaths in the central channel of the Avadhuti (藏文:ཨ་ཝ་དྷཱུ་ཏཱི,梵文天城体:अवाधूती,梵文罗马拟音:avadhati,汉语字面意思:不退转者), and moves from the left and right nostrils, through the power of meditating on the Great Seal, eight thousand breaths will cease for the yogi. When it ceases like that, one will attain the first ground. Its wisdom and fruit is the attainment of a purified flesh eye, and one will be able to see one realm of the ten directions. When the second transference ceases, one will attain the second ground, and likewise, one will be able to see two realms. When the third transference ceases, one will attain the third ground, and with the divine eye, one will be able to see three realms beyond the human realm. When the fourth transference ceases, one will attain the fourth ground, and one will be able to see up to a hundred realms of the ten directions. When the fifth transference ceases, one will attain the fifth ground, and with the Buddha eye, one will be able to see sixteen realms of the ten directions. When the sixth transference ceases, one will be able to stop one hundred eighty thousand three hundred thirty-eight and a half life-force breaths. One will attain the sixth ground and be able to see thirty-two realms of the ten directions. When the seventh transference ceases, stopping the life-force breath, one will be able to see up to the boundary of sixty-four realms of the ten directions. When the eighth transference ceases, one hundred eighty thousand three hundred thirty-eight and a half life-force breaths cease, one will attain the eighth ground, and from the manifestation of the eighth ground,

Through direct perception, with the eye of wisdom completely purified, one will attain the irreversible stage and will be able to clearly see the boundaries of one hundred and twenty-eight worlds in the ten directions. When the flow of life-force ceases during the ninth transference of consciousness, the ninth stage will be attained. By attaining the eye of wisdom through direct perception, one will be able to clearly see the boundaries of two hundred and fifty-six worlds in the ten directions. When the life-force ceases during the tenth transference of consciousness, the tenth stage is attained, and direct perception, being the eye of wisdom completely purified, will enable one to clearly see the boundaries of five hundred and two worlds in the ten directions. When the life-force ceases during the eleventh transference of consciousness, the eleventh stage, the attainment of the Buddha who has abandoned the three obscurations, will be attained. By obtaining the five wisdom eyes from direct perception, one will be able to clearly see the boundaries of one thousand and twenty-four worlds in the ten directions. When the flow of life-force ceases during the twelfth transference of consciousness, with twenty-one thousand six hundred and seventy-five breaths ceasing in the crown chakra, then the tenth second stage can be attained in this very life. By attaining the Vajradhara state, one will be able to see with the eye of wisdom the two thousand intermediate worlds, as well as the three thousand great thousand worlds, and other worlds as numerous as the sands of the Ganges, countless, immeasurable, and inexpressible. Here, fearing extensive elaboration, I have not written how the stages are attained through the eleven powers, nor how the stages are attained through the increase of bliss from the lower gate. What is such a yogi who sees in this way called? How will he transform? For that reason, it is said, "That great being," etc., since he is both a being and great, he is called a great being, like a great Naga among beings, hence he is called such. "Whenever and however he transforms" means that by obtaining mastery over birth, it is all of everything, all of every kind. "How he transforms" refers to the body of the emanation, such as gods, humans, and other types of beings.
