It appears immediately. As it is said: The first appears like a cloud, The second is like smoke. Likewise, the appearance of moving water is a mirage. The appearance of the sky and the lamp are very famous. These four signs appear in the darkness of a room without holes, so they are the yoga of the night and the yoga of the sky. As it is said in the glorious Guhyasamaja and others, the first and second are reversed: When the mind travels to the obstructing vajra, The signs of clinging arise and change, First is the appearance of a mirage, Second is like smoke, Third ༄། The appearance of the sky, Fourth is the blazing lamp, Fifth is always visible, Like a cloudless sky. Then, the appearance of the cloudless sky is like the appearance of fire, and the appearance of emptiness is burning. The appearance of the moon and the sun are very famous. The dark one is the appearance of Rahu, which appears like a black jewel. The appearance of lightning is called "cha". The great bindu is the clear manifestation of flowing and non-flowing blue color, which appears in the form of a lunar disc. These six signs arise from the appearance of the cloudless sky, so they are the yoga of the day and the yoga of no interval. Then, reaching its center, one sees the form of the Buddha, the nature of the Sambhogakaya, which has not been seen before. Like water that stays in the hand for a moment, the first sight of all kinds of vases and silks is a variety of luminous images. "Covered and uncovered eyes" means that because of falling into the appearance of images, the yogi's direct perception is to look at emptiness with half-closed eyes, that is, without grasping or clinging to the sky. One should meditate on those forms such as smoke, and experience them oneself. These two yogas are also called the glorious first Buddha: If the mind is universally attached to the sky and the eyes are not closed, then one can enter the vajra path well. From emptiness, smoke, mirage, very clear and immaculate sky, lamp, burning, moon, sun, vajra, etc.

I shall see the place and bindu of the supreme. In its center is the Buddha's form, separate from place and distinctions, the Sambhogakaya. Thus it is said. The mother of the Victorious Ones also taught: the samadhi called Jewel Appearance, the samadhi called Jewel Lamp, the samadhi called Moon Appearance, the samadhi called Sun Lamp, the samadhi called All Forms ༄. Seeing, and so forth. Also in the Prajnaparamita it is taught: Kausika, whoever practices yoga on space, practices yoga on the Prajnaparamita. Whoever practices yoga on non-attainment, practices yoga on the Prajnaparamita. And so forth. Similarly, in the Manjushri-nama-samgiti: All Buddhas are manifest, the flame of wisdom is exceedingly clear. And so forth. Thus: Relying on the words of the lama, rather than one's own experience, these are words and stories about the path of mantra. Because these are permitted by the lama, with wisdom and enjoyment as the foremost. In the root tantra, the Bhagavan taught: Transcending existence and non-existence, the non-dual entity, existence and non-existence are exhausted. Emptiness and compassion are inseparable, Vajra Yoga is great bliss. Transcending the nature of subtle particles, completely abandoning the dharma of emptiness. Certainly liberated from permanence and annihilation, Vajra Yoga is without dualistic thought. Thus it is said. Elsewhere it is also said: Having completely abandoned all thoughts, one should completely examine in one day. If faith does not arise, then the words spoken at that time are false. Thus it is said. The noble Nagarjuna also said: Whose mind has no support, transcends existence and non-existence. That one meditates with faith on the meaning of the profound and signless. Thus it is said. The noble Aryadeva also said: When the Bhagavan, the lord of life, has dissolved into himself, and the movement of the life-breath, the collection of arising and dissolving, has become completely pacified, then from his own body, the yogis and masters generate an exceedingly bright light, destroy darkness, and subdue the three worlds. Thus it is said. L
