Like having nothing. Body, speech, and mind are the three staffs, mind is the one staff to be gathered. The glorious Brahma's form is boundless and unique, not grasped by those who enter the water with a staff. Even the peaceful ones smear their bodies with ashes, at the end of bathing, the thirty-two powers are wisdom. For the sake of happiness, they constantly hold matted hair, and worship stones with flowers of desire. Others hold skulls and heads, and adorn their bodies with human bones. To attain glorious accomplishments, they wander in charnel grounds, what accomplishments can the ignorant and weak-minded achieve with evil wisdom? The black-faced ones are no different from those animal owners, the naked ones, the long-haired ones, and the shaved ones. Wandering in the learning places, they desire to go to peace, but they will not attain the state of liberation and pass away. Others also include the naked ones and the hair-pluckers, those with all their teeth, and those who smear all their limbs with filth. Compelled by hunger and thirst, they are bound in ignorance, and will never walk the path of liberation. Others stay under trees in the summer, and in fences during the cool and spring seasons. In winter, they are yogis without cover, enduring great suffering to seek the true meaning. It is unreasonable for naked people to have lion thrones, for hair-pluckers to have three umbrellas, and for those smeared with filth to have heavenly flowers falling from the sorrowless tree. Others also include monks with shaved heads, holding charnel ground ashes, and dwelling in the realm of desire gods. Samadhi

And holding the yoga. Those who possess excellent limbs hate, And those who are attached perform the noble Brahma conduct as a cause of wealth. If one is attached to women even in dreams, How can that noble Brahma ascetic be? For example, a lump of butter is like a blazing fire, It melts away in an instant. Thus, the foolish one who lacks the holy face of the lama, Holds the path that gives much suffering. Also, the one who lacks merit as a cause of happiness, Seeks a sleeping place in the fire of hells. If this suffering increases in one's own mind, It will not give happiness for hundreds of lifetimes. From sowing all kinds of seeds in the fields, It will not turn into a special rice seed. From the Brahma tree, water tree fruits do not turn, From sugarcane trees and water, there is no butter. Poison does not turn into a special essence, From one's own mind, suffering does not turn into happiness. When the seed of suffering is properly planted in the mind, It will increase in many lifetimes, Therefore, the pure ones, having thoroughly examined, Should completely accomplish the decay of equal happiness. When the life force is cut off and there is no future birth, It shows that other beings have decayed. If that is so, why do the fierce ones, The people who have passed away, enter the place of peace? Other beings also high
