The Practice of Glorious Ultimate Truth. Composed by Pema Karpo. The Practice of Glorious Ultimate Truth. Composed by Pema Karpo. In Sanskrit: Śrīparamārthasevā. In Tibetan: The Practice of Glorious Ultimate Truth. I prostrate to the Glorious Kalachakra. To the one who illuminates the three realms like the sun of wisdom, the Glorious Shakya Lion, the Maitreya Protector, and Manjushri, like wish-fulfilling jewels and fame, and to the Vajradhara, I bow with my head. Because the six views and many speculations are difficult for those of lesser intelligence to fathom, I will briefly explain the practice of ultimate truth, abandoning worldly customs. The all-knowing ones have spoken in the unexcelled Vajrayana, following the oral instructions of the desire-fulfilling guru. Therefore, if virtuous disciples thoroughly examine the guru like gold, there will be no fault whatsoever. From whom arise Vishnu, Sukhasambhava, the fierce one, the moon and sun, stars, Rahu, planets, and the like, the father of Vajrasattva and others are completely abandoned, ༄༅། །The ignorant take the path of the world's ancestors. The certainty of the world is inferior to measurement, and the divisions of the Dharma of views are many. The Vedas are difficult to understand, and thoughts are diverse. What will the wise hold onto in this world? Others explain the meaning spoken by the all-knowing one with many bodies. Those who abide in the six views, the gurus who are very famous, the realm that is very vast, and equality are perverse views. Those who are inferior to the guru's oral instructions are said to have heard the tantras. Before obtaining empowerment and the unchanging path, they act as great Vajra masters. What will these ignorant beings do? They give empowerments out of greed for wealth, and they draw their own mandalas with colored powders. They make offerings to the desired symbols with the nature of stone. They burn butter and the like in the blazing hearth. The syllables "Om" and "Hum" are the mantras of desire, and they recite them for the benefit of others. Those whose wisdom has declined do not know these, and whatever sound they make becomes a mantra. In the lake without geese

In the center of the lotus, the cunning white crane is very beautiful. Just as hiding to kill fish, the bad lama treats beings in the same way. Like the essence of a lotus, shrinking its neck, the cunning one stands on one leg. Just as the water bird confuses the fish in this way, the bad lama treats beings like a white crane. Just as an actor changes the essence of a dance, transforming samsara into the form of the king of gods. Because there is no path, desiring and craving wealth, similarly, binding the victor's diadem to power. Excessively attached to desire, unrestrained by the influence of alcohol, accompanied by an angry mind, and very attached to things. Speaking untruths, wanting to deceive children, it is not surprising that such a lama brings suffering. The suffering of samsara is tormented by flames, lamas with blurred vision are seized. In order to destroy extreme suffering, existing on the great path, like being deluded by the poison of a sleeping snake. For attachment to Dharma and the joy of Nirvana, for many foolish people with extreme attachment and minds. If fully examined, it will be the giver of the fire of hell, why rely on a bad lama? The phenomena of samsara and nirvana disappear, wisdom and certainty enter, compassion and so on are no different. Losing the senses, thinking becomes examination, non-dual and universally present, necessarily peaceful. That is also the primordial Buddha Vajrasattva auspicious, that is also the world protector and auspicious Manjushri. That is the vajra of the heart, Vajra Dakini auspicious, that is immutable, walking with unchanging yoga. That is the lord, pervader, and grandfather, the Sugata Victor who destroys demons and so on without remainder. That fame is the Shakya Lion, the capable one, auspicious, that is all the Buddhas, the auspicious Kalachakra. Such a peaceful emanation is the lama auspicious, the completely hidden Buddha bliss.

Possessing great bravery, even when engaging in mudras, he does not lose his attachment. In the path of the sun and moon, yoga is not corrupted, and with the power of yoga, he thoroughly enters the fire of wisdom. He is attached to drinking the nectar of immeasurable bliss. The Vajradhara who seizes sins is the glorious Lama. He does not abandon good disciples and seek others, nor does he give away those who come for bliss. He does not desire things like the meaning of attainment, but he closely enjoys the wealth he has attained. He truly teaches the words of the unsurpassed tantra. For sons who possess qualities, he destroys samsara, and from his own Brahma world, he fully reveals everything. He is the glory of the Lama, not another Lama's glory. Immeasurable Buddhas always worship him, Bodhisattvas abiding in all directions always bow to him, and accomplished ones sing many Vajra songs to him, showing the path to those who have fallen into the wilderness of existence. One who clings to ordinary desires is not a glorious Lama. One who clings to well-obtained wealth is not a glorious Lama. One who slanders wise people is not a glorious Lama. One who completely abandons compassion for sentient beings is not a glorious Lama. One who excessively uses the wealth of the Sangha is not a glorious Lama. One who abandons students without wealth is not a glorious Lama. One who gives away works that have already been meditated upon is not a glorious Lama. One who scolds good disciples is not a glorious Lama. One who threatens good disciples is not a glorious Lama. One who desires to deceive good disciples is not a glorious Lama. One who is angry with good disciples for a long time is not a glorious Lama. One who desires to abandon good disciples is not a glorious Lama. One who is filled with pride due to the power of wisdom is not a glorious Lama. One who is overjoyed due to the power of wealth is not a glorious Lama. One who dwells in trivial household matters
