應仲（ing drung）吉祥上師， 何者持守苦行之器吉祥上師， 何者持有安樂之藏吉祥上師， 何者不盡時食之吉祥上師， 何者居於虛空之處吉祥上師， 何者居於虛空之穴吉祥上師， 何者與有情同心吉祥上師， 賜予無畏三清上師之吉祥者。 吉祥上師為何不依止？ 吉祥上師為何不滿足？ 吉祥上師為何不供養？ 吉祥上師為何不敬禮？ 床墊坐騎僕役，以酸奶為生者等， 肢體美好之女，美貌女子等， 愛妻愛子及財物等， 無餘一切亦能給予安樂。 薩魯米飯、肉、香甜酥油等， 食物、飲品，施予眾多悅意之物， 檳榔、冰糖、上好漱口水等， 麝香等物，增長魔眾。 敵人啊！ 充分佩戴項鍊、寶石、耳環等， 腰帶及腳鐲、護身符等， 頭飾及頭冠、精美項鍊等， 各種衣物能止息眾多痛苦。 塗香及藏紅花、檀香等， 沉香、黑香、錫蘭香等熏香， 瞻波迦花等香甜花朵， 珍貴明燈使道路不失。 因爭鬥之故，上師功過參半， 一切方面皆無罪過是不可能的。 應當善加觀察何者功德更勝， 弟子們應當依止於彼。 石頭和木頭本性的佛陀們， 數百萬劫也不能給予解脫。 今生之中，若能善加觀察， 依止上師便能給予安樂。 兄弟、愛妻、心愛之人、朋友、怙主， 沒有與上師等同的父母。 今生之中，能止息痛苦的， 由持金剛之善妙威德所賜予。 應當以極其清淨之心來依止， 如此未來才不會給予痛苦。 以不清淨之心來依止則會轉為痛苦， 譬如熱病增盛時飲用酥油

That glorious lama of Ingdrung, That glorious lama who holds the vessel of asceticism, That glorious lama who holds the treasury of bliss, That glorious lama who is the inexhaustible devourer of time, That glorious lama who dwells in the realm of the sky, That glorious lama who dwells in the cave of the sky, That glorious lama who has equanimity for sentient beings, That glorious lama who bestows the fearless three purities. Why should that glorious lama not be relied upon? Why should that glorious lama not be satisfied? Why should that glorious lama not be offered to? Why should that glorious lama not be prostrated to? Mattresses, mounts, servants, slaves, those who live on yogurt, Women with good limbs, beautiful girls, Wives, beloved ones, sons, and possessions, Everything without exception also gives happiness. Salu rice, meat, fragrant butter, Food and drink, many pleasing gifts, Betel nut, rock candy, good mouthwash, Musk and so on, increase the multitude of demons. Enemies! Necklaces, jewels, earrings worn abundantly, Belts, anklets, arm protectors, Head ornaments, crowns, fine necklaces, Various clothes destroy much suffering. Perfumes, saffron, sandalwood, Agarwood, black incense, Ceylon incense, Champaka and other fragrant flowers, Precious lamps keep the path from fading. Due to the power of strife, the lama's faults and virtues are mixed, It is impossible for there to be no sin in every way. Having well examined which qualities are superior, The sons should rely on that one. The Buddhas of stone and wood nature, Do not give liberation in hundreds of thousands of lifetimes. In this very life, if one examines well, Relying on the lama will give happiness. Brothers, beloved wives, loved ones, friends, protectors, There are no parents equal to the lama. In this very life, the one who destroys suffering, Is given by the glorious power of the Vajra Holder. One should rely on with an extremely pure mind, So that suffering will not be given in the future. Relying on with an impure mind turns into suffering, For example, drinking butter when a fever is increasing.
