In the state of sleep, one is completely immersed and the mind is filled with suffering, yet there is no subtle harm involved. This is widely known throughout the world, that in that state, the self-nature body of the mind's habits, separated from the collection of fine dust, appears to go to another place. If in that other place, that body is harmed by thieves, etc., then that harm will fill the mind with suffering, and the suffering will burn it. Without a body, and without thieves, etc., the self-awareness of the mind's suffering arises, which is truly amazing! Similarly, those who enjoy great desires in dreams, their minds are filled with happiness. Without a body, and without those who enjoy great desires, the self-awareness of the happiness of sentient beings' minds arises, which is truly wonderful! Even this fleeting awareness cannot be fully analyzed by the wise, let alone the self-awareness of yogis, which arises from the habits of nirvana, transcending the habits of samsara, the unchanging great bliss wisdom of Kuntuzangpo (Samantabhadra), how could the ignorant analyze it? If heretics, evil-minded ones, who delight in the true nature of the life-force, say here that in the dream state, there is the exhalation and inhalation of breath in the self-nature body composed of fine dust, and by the power of the exhalation and inhalation of breath, it transforms into three states, and it is not without the exhalation and inhalation of breath, if they say this. Then, this needs to be analyzed in detail. If there is no exhalation and inhalation of breath here, and there is no dream state in the mind, then how can the mind appear clearly for an hour in the state of death and fainting, without the exhalation and inhalation of breath? By the command of the King of Death, the messengers of Death will take the body, the city of Death will appear, and in the city of Death, the King of Death will also appear, and the

Discriminating between virtuous deeds and sins. After discriminating, they say this: Why hasn't this one's lifespan ended yet? Therefore, as long as this body has not decayed, quickly take this sentient being to the human world. Thus, they instruct the messengers of Yama, and due to that instruction, those messengers of Yama then cast the body from there into the human world. After being cast into the human world, due to the power of the mind's imprints, breath arises and enters again in that dead body, and at that time, due to the influence of other imprints, it becomes a state of awakening. In that state, because the mind is fully awakened, they tell the affairs of the King of Yama to the relatives. Therefore, without a body and without breathing, the adventitious imprints of the beginningless mind change due to the power of repeated births, and are not the nature of sentient beings. If this imprint of samsara were to become the nature, then sentient beings would not become Buddhas. Due to what cause is it temporary? Due to that cause, it will be exhausted, and the Thus-Gone One declared that from its exhaustion, one becomes a Buddha. Thus, discriminating in various ways, this samsara is merely the imprint of one's own mind, and nothing else. The imprint of samsara is also a moment of the nature of change, and is not unchanging. The imprint of nirvana is a moment of the nature of immutability, and is not changing. The Bhagavan, in the chapter within the King of Tantras, declared with one hundred and two verses as follows: Whoever enters into the center of whomever, delights in asceticism and determination, is definitely bound by the noose of karma. In his center, each with his own thoughts, the lord of men changes in his lineage by his attachments. As long as the nature of the mind is the power of the three existences (three existences: desire existence, form existence, formless existence), feeling happiness and suffering. Then, wandering in this terrible samsara, the lord of men is in the heavens, the human realm, and also below. Again, in that same chapter, with ninety-seven verses, the imprints of yoga are declared. The yoga master

If one dies with a mind greatly agitated by not attaining [liberation], then, in the auspicious human realm, one will be born into the most excellent Shakya clan, endowed with yoga. That former habit will again fully grasp the vast and profound wisdom yoga. Having attained wisdom, one will proceed to the inexhaustible supreme state, and will no longer be born anywhere. Therefore, due to the power of the mind's imprints, self-awareness will transform into wisdom, not from the enjoyment of the body of particles. If one engages in sexual intercourse in a dream state, there will be emission from the sleeping body, but not from the body of the mind's imprints in the dream. Therefore, through the power of this body, great bliss will transform into self-awareness, but not from the body of the mind's imprints. Some may say that they are attached to the pleasure of the two organs, therefore it needs to be refuted. Here, fools will say that emission occurs from the body of accumulated particles, but not due to the action of the body of the mind's imprints. This statement is not valid, because emission also occurs in the formless realm. Here, if there is no transference without the body of accumulated particles, and no cyclic existence without transference, and no approaching great bliss without cyclic existence, then how can beings in the formless realms be reborn for the sake of Buddhahood without transference? Because there is no body of accumulated particles, the bodies of the formless ones are not nourished by food. If there is no body of accumulated particles, semen cannot be transferred; if semen cannot be transferred, then they will not have seminal fluid, and there will be no cyclic existence, but that is not the case. The Bhagavan, in the chapter "Entering into the Two," spoke of the body of accumulated particles and unchanging wisdom in three verses, as follows: This body is a collection of elements, entirely transformed from the six tastes that are eaten and drunk, and the six tastes also arise from the elements.
