The saying "Do not confer empowerment on the immature" means that those who expound the tantras without empowerment should be abandoned. The saying "Attachment to all enjoyments" means being completely and utterly attached to the enjoyments of outer samsara in every way. The saying "Careless" means that one should abandon being without mindfulness due to drinking alcohol. The saying "Desire for the sake of the senses" means that one should abandon being desirous for the sake of the pleasure of the two faculties, which is the definitive statement of the Tathagata. In the way of mantra, it is said: "The teacher's virtues should be taken, Faults are never present. By taking virtues, accomplishment arises, By speaking of faults, there is no accomplishment." Similarly: "Whoever has obtained the supreme empowerment of Vajra, Their teacher is the Tathagata. All who dwell in the ten directions of the world, Those who have come in the three times, I prostrate." Did not the Tathagata say this? Therefore, the virtues of the teacher should be taken, and some undamaged words will appear in it, so it should be explained. Here, in the future, some foolish people who have strayed from the path will say: "The teacher's virtues should be taken, Faults are never present." These words should not be spoken. Why? Because for the sake of relying on a lama, the Tathagata has said that the faults and virtues of the teacher should be fully examined, as follows: "Without compassion and prone to anger, Proud, greedy, and miserly, A teacher who praises himself and disparages others, A wise disciple should not rely on." Therefore, even if one has relied on a teacher, a disciple who seeks liberation should abandon doing what should not be done. Similarly, in the First Buddha, it is said: "If a householder dwells in a dwelling place, A servant, farmer, or merchant, A fool who sells the sacred Dharma, This is not a Vajra Holder on earth." And so on. Regarding the three types of lamas, it is said in the examination of the teacher: "Those ten are all-knowing, Among the three, a bhikshu is supreme, The intermediate is called a shramanera, A householder is the lowest of these." Similarly: "A householder who has not attained the ground, A king should not take as a teacher, He is all-knowing in hearing, Whoever has the signs should be taken."

If one has not attained realization, then the teacher, when residing at home and receiving offerings, at that time will become disrespectful towards the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha. Similarly, consecrations of temples, etc., should always be performed by those with the signs. If there are three in one place, it should not be done by a householder wearing white clothes. Thus, the teacher should be thoroughly examined in various ways. Therefore, one should rely on the teacher and disciple as spoken by the Bhagavan, and the previously stated certainty is for the sake of abandoning those with faults. Similarly, it has also been said in terms of qualities: Steady, gentle, and intelligent, patient, upright, and without deceit, knowing the union of mantra and tantra, possessing loving-kindness and being skilled in treatises, fully knowing those ten qualities, being skilled in the work of drawing mandalas, the one who explains secret mantras, That teacher, possesses the power to tame the nature of the beginning. And so on. However, if there are other verses spoken by others, why not analyze them? The words such as "the one who has attained the supreme empowerment" should be understood by the wise through the ultimate truth and the conventional truth, that is, through the definitive meaning and the provisional meaning. Among them, first, the definitive meaning should be explained. Here, the best of the vase empowerment, secret empowerment, and wisdom-knowledge empowerment, which is the Great Seal Prajnaparamita, is the ultimate moment of the unchanging great bliss, the characteristic of manifest complete enlightenment, which is not interrupted. That is to say, the one who attained enlightenment under the Bodhi tree by the Bhagavan is the one who has attained the supreme empowerment. Who is for what reason? Because the body, speech, and mind are inseparable, it is the Vajra Master, that is, the Tathagata Shakyamuni Buddha. In these three realms, for the benefit of sentient beings, whoever's body, speech, and mind are inseparable, acting like a vajra, that is the Vajra Master, the universally departed one, the all-knowing one. To this, there are also the words "Tathagatas, residing in the ten directions of the world." Here, in the ten directions, whatever Bodhisattvas exist, the crowns of those Bodhisattvas are the nature of the seven jewels, and in the definitive sense, are called "worlds," and those crowns are.
