Is equanimity. To Dharma is compassion. To perfect enjoyment is joy. To great bliss is equanimity. Similarly, it arises from four moments: variety, maturation, self, and absence of characteristics. The four truths are: suffering, origin, cessation, and path. The four suchness are: my suchness, mantra's suchness, deity's suchness, and wisdom's suchness. The four joys are: joy, supreme joy, joy of separation from joy, and innate joy. The four divisions are: Sthavira, Sarvastivada, Mahasamghika, and Mahasamghika. How do loving-kindness and others transform? At all times, the mind that abides in the same taste is loving-kindness. The nature of past aspirations, which is the mind, is compassion. One of these, that is joy. The mind that is without dependence on anything is equanimity. What about emanation and so on? All sentient beings, wherever it is said they are born, there is the emanation body, which is said to be emanation. Or, because it tames, it is emanation. Dharma is the nature of mind because it holds its own characteristics. Perfect enjoyment is because it enjoys the six tastes such as sweetness. By the distinction of the three bodies, it transforms into these, and by fully knowing them, it is great bliss. In these wheels, one should know the moments such as variety. How are variety and so on? Because it does various things such as embracing and kissing, it is variety. Because it enjoys the bliss of wisdom, it is maturation. Because it pleases everything, it is without form, that is, without self-nature. Because it is free from attachment, it is without characteristics. From these moments, joy and so on arise. To variety is joy. To maturation is supreme joy. To self is various joys. To the absence of characteristics is innate joy. With joy, there is a little happiness.

It will increase, and the bliss of supreme joy will increase even more than that. Various joys are the very nature of various attachments. The remainder of all is co-emergent joy. The first is desire for what is touched, the second is attachment to pleasure, the third is the disappearance of attachment, and the fourth is supreme bliss. Between supreme joy and various joys is co-emergent joy, which is separate from these three and cannot be indicated by anything, nor can it be obtained from anywhere. It is known by relying on the guru and by one's own merit. This is what is said above. For these joys, one should understand the four noble truths, such as suffering. How are they understood? First, arising is the truth of suffering. Extreme arising is the truth of origin. Complete disappearance with no self-nature is the truth of cessation. Therefore, co-emergent joy itself is the truth of the path. Then there are the four realities: because joy arises, it is the reality of self. Because it speaks secretly, supreme joy is the reality of mantra. Because it realizes the nature of emptiness, complete disappearance is the reality of the deity. Because co-emergence is meditated upon as appearing, it is the reality of wisdom. Then there are the four schools: the first joy is the Sthavira. The second joy is the Sarvastivada. The nature of variety is revered by many. The nature of co-emergence is called the Mahasamghika. All of these will arise from the joys. They should also be understood in the Nirmanakaya, Sambhogakaya, equality, and the great bliss wheel. Nirmanakaya, Dharma, and Sambhogakaya are Lalanā, Rasanā, and Avadhūtī. All of these are great bliss through the equality of taste. It should also be understood that it is playing in the form of the king of mind, both externally and internally. The wisdom that is beautiful to the guru should be shown to the disciple. By distinguishing with ultimate truth, it is between the two channels. Unfabricated and non-impermanent, existent and non-existent, uncontaminated, beyond grasping and the grasped, from which the three realms arise, and which benefits these three realms.

Beyond all verbal expression, one who has received empowerment should know wisdom. Then, in order to realize that very nature, the supreme union should be spoken of. The happiness that arises in the mind from the formation of the wisdom-nature mudra will become the first joy. By embracing those, the senses become one and the superior transformation is the supreme joy. The nature of satisfying all, by being without nature, like the sky, devoid of characteristics, is the special joy. That which transcends these three is called the joy of co-emergence, which the yogi should recognize in the state of suchness. Then, in order to awaken those whose senses have become dull, the characteristics of wisdom should be shown by the guru through the union of external wisdom. Or, from the navel, the burning Caṇḍālī (藏文:ཙཎྜལཱི།) burns the five Sugatas. After burning the eye-mother and so on, burn the "Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཾ་,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽)" and cause the rabbit-holder to drip. The so-called "Caṇḍa (藏文:ཙཎྜ་,梵文天城体:चण्डा,梵文罗马拟音:caṇḍā,汉语字面意思:Fierce one)" is wisdom, and the so-called "Āli (藏文:ཨཱ་ལི་)" is means. The nature of Āli and Kālī is the essence of Lalanā and Rasanā. These essences of means and wisdom are Caṇḍālī. The so-called "at the navel" means in the middle of the two in the sky, the meaning of Avadhūtī. If it burns, the so-called five Sugatas are the five aggregates, which means to burn. Then, the so-called eye-mother and so on means that the five elements are burned and become without form. The so-called burning "Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཾ་)" means burning self and self's. Having become like that, the so-called rabbit-holder is the mind of enlightenment, which causes it to drip for the benefit of all sentient beings, and thus it will be attained closely by oneself. For example, a flower can be held merely by smelling it with the nose, but it is not seen anywhere, nor does it become close in any way. So what is it? Just as self-awareness arises, so too is co-emergence taught. The mind that abides in such co-emergence is like a city of gandharvas, like illusion and magic, like a mirror and reflection, like an echo, arising with joy and gathering, and so on in various ways.
