The Manifestation of Suchness, the Deeds of the Glorious Lord of the World. The Manifestation of Suchness, The Deeds of the Glorious Lord of the World. First, the Chapter for Beginners. In Sanskrit: Tattvaloka nāma. In Tibetan: Called The Manifestation of Suchness. Homage to the Glorious Hevajra! The edge of bones is the dispersion of swirling clouds, the path of immaculate space. The vajra's rays spread, the lion's authority, Brahma is terrified, worthy of praise. Like the water offering at the end of an eon, like thunder, the sound is pleasant and gentle, the letter Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,हुं,hūṃ,seed syllable) transforms into sound. Fear causes the four maras to tremble, and the three realms pay homage, the dance of Heruka, may you protect. Like black mountains, the gentle janna janna transforms into sound, the pair of knees laugh. The three terrifying eyes on the arms gaze, causing the gods to tremble. Displaying the extended, stiff frown, the face is unpleasant. Glorious Vajra Dakini, like a blue lotus, protects beings with her own form. Vajrasattva bestows, with compassion towards beings, called The Manifestation of Suchness, I shall write. Because of those difficult to tame, in order to lead the mind onto the path, I exert effort, may the wise ones of Suchness forgive. The tantra is the essence of Hevajra Tantra and others, taught by the Sugata, diligently upheld, the treatise that generates various things, The Manifestation of Suchness, for the benefit of beings, I shall explain. First, the disciple should face the guru and perform the mandala ritual. Then, in order to make sentient beings weary, for the benefit of beings, may I become a Buddha! Thus, one should vow. Then, offer oneself to the guru. This is generosity. Turning away from causing the mind to enter the wrong path, this is discipline. The arising of body, speech, and mind, this is patience. The accomplishment of fulfilling the previous vows, this is diligence. The mind becoming one-pointed, this is meditation. Knowing that all these are without inherent existence, this is

I am the one who has obtained the name of wisdom. Therefore, by means of the five perfections, such as generosity endowed with wisdom, one will obtain a name, that is to say, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva should rely on the six perfections and completely abandon the ten non-virtuous actions. These also depend on body, speech, and mind. The body depends on speech, speech depends on mind, and mind depends on space, while space does not depend on anything. Therefore, with all effort, purify these three without defilement, and again, explain these three separately. For example, the body is like an image, speech is like the echo of sound, and the mind is equal to space. If these three are endowed with wisdom, they will become pure, it is said. Therefore, not being harmed by the ten non-virtues, it is said, a Bodhisattva should first remember past actions and practice them. The chapter for beginners, which is the first. Second, the chapter of the general introduction. After that, among the four types of tantric scriptures, regarding the accomplishment of siddhis of mantras, etc., all that was spoken by the Bhagavan was taught in order to lead sentient beings dwelling in the lower realms and establish them on the sacred path. The teachings also become diverse due to the great differences in the minds of beings, such as inferior, middling, and superior, just as the one becomes non-one. How does it change? For example, in vessels filled with water, even though there is only one moon, many reflections appear, it is said. Therefore, from all vehicles, realize that only Suchness is the one and only, and not others, it is said. Having thus ascertained, in order to fulfill the previous vows, one should strive day and night in this life to achieve enlightenment. After that, if one cannot practice, then one should engage in merit, and by the power of merit, in the future, one will be able to help others practice enlightenment, it is said. Those who are endowed with anger, miserliness, pride, and attachment to alcohol, meat, and so on, and the teachings they proclaim

Those ways of understanding individually certainly cannot reveal the nature of the cause and effect of unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment. Because taking those people as disciples for the sake of enjoyment, selling the sacred Dharma, living an immoral life, falling into hell due to being separated from blessings, are called meaningless. Then, whatever exists, such as the five elements and the five aggregates, are the perfection of mind, and not anything else. For example, understand that the changes that arise in a dream, separated from self, are like the reflection of the moon that has transcended the grasped and the grasper, like an echo, like a city of gandharvas. The mind also transcends arising, abiding, ceasing, going, and coming, and is liberated from beginning, middle, and end. It cannot be obtained from any existence, because this very one who possesses wisdom is the one who delights in the three realms. For example, just as a magician shows wonders to people in the manner of arising, abiding, and ceasing, so too should the mind be understood. If a yogi understands in this way that has been spoken, it will not harm the ground of the mind. If a yogi understands the mind, he will become like the sky, free from attachment. Like a wish-fulfilling jewel, whether it is the nature of joy or gathering, whether it is death or momentary revival, what need is there to mention being unrestricted by time? Like this, it is meaningless to merely hear without experiencing it, just as merely reading a medical text does not cure the patient. Therefore, the fruit will be perfected through the practice of experience. Therefore, if the mind is understood, everything will arise. The nature of wisdom and mind can be understood through empowerment and the kindness of the guru, so it is said. The second part of the general discussion ends. Third part, the part of empowerment. Then, I will speak about how to properly bestow empowerment upon the disciples. The so-called 'Juntson Gyegye' is certain.
