Thus it is. How are all dharmas without inherent existence? Because they are unborn. Therefore, because they are free from all the darkness of imputation by inherent existence, they are luminous. Why? Because inherent existence is unborn from the very beginning. There is nothing that is born first and then destroyed later. Therefore, just as other dharmas, such as illusions, are unborn from the very beginning, so they are ultimately empty of inherent existence. Similarly, the mind is also empty, because the reasoning is the same. Here, too, it is considered in terms of the present. Because the past and the future are also generally explained as emptiness, it only shows the three doors of samadhi and liberation, such as emptiness. After that, with the reasoning of "to what action," etc., the essence of the three letters, one's own body, speech, and mind, like reflections, should be contemplated as being of one taste with emptiness. One should do this, and the meaning of the mantra, "Om Shunyata Jnana Vajra Svabhava Atmako 'Ham" (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思), will be manifested. The emptiness that is devoid of the inherent nature, cause, and effect of all dharmas. The wisdom of emptiness is the wisdom of emptiness, which means the mind of one taste with emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness. That alone is the vajra, because it is empty of inherent existence, and therefore cannot be broken by dissimilar factors, and because it breaks them, and because it has no beginning or end. Its inherent nature is the nature that has just been described, or it is inherent existence itself, that is, what one possesses. Thus, the mind that is completely purified by the inherent nature of the body of Suchness, being free from adventitious defilements, abides in its own nature. Therefore, because it is inherently pure, that whose essence is that which is one's own nature is I, and only that whose essence is I. Therefore, this bodhicitta especially delights in being its own characteristic with the word "emptiness wisdom," and with the word "vajra," it is ultimately pure, and with the word "inherent nature," it is not superfluous even at the time of ultimate purity, and with the words "essence" and "I," its essence is inherently pure.

Just as the Dharmadhatu is without beginning or end, so is the Bodhicitta, because it is aimed at Suchness, so it is the embodiment of Suchness as the main thing. The syllable OM also establishes itself as the nature of body, speech, and mind by the unity of the letters A, U, and MA. Therefore, this mantra has the meaning of emptiness, the nature of emptiness of the body, etc., and the Bodhicitta inseparable from compassion. Alternatively, the syllable OM represents the Body Vajra. The nature of emptiness and wisdom Vajra represents the Mind Vajra. The syllable AH represents the Speech Vajra, because I am always non-existent, so it is only language. Thus, these three words proclaim the mantra of the nature of the Three Families. Alternatively, since all things are unborn from the beginning, and are separated from permanence and annihilation, and are like illusions, therefore, the first letter of the words unborn, etc., plus the vowel and the subsequent nasal sound, forms the syllable OM. It proclaims the mirror-like wisdom. Emptiness represents the wisdom of equality. Wisdom represents the wisdom of discernment. Vajra represents the wisdom of accomplishment because it is firm and free from elaboration. Nature represents the nature of all things as completely free from defilements, so it represents the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu. The syllable AH clearly shows the nature of the five wisdoms, that is, the nature of the Great Vajradhara. Therefore, the meaning of the mantra as the nature of the Five Families is explained. These three explanations were also revealed by the Bhagavan alone in the Tantras, and are clarified here. Therefore, there is actually nothing that exists substantially, however, all are free from the two extremes, all dharmas have the characteristic of no self-nature, the nature of non-elaboration, and are only the Dharmadhatu, therefore, one should be certain of this. When existence and non-existence do not abide before the mind, then there is no other aspect, and it is completely pacified without an object of focus. This shows that all dharmas have the nature of non-apprehension and are completely absorbed into emptiness. Therefore, complete absorption into luminosity is what was requested by Ocean of Wisdom.
