The compiler of this is Vajra Heart. He also, when the Bhagavan was dwelling in the palace of dominion and on the summit of Mount Meru, etc., spoke other tantras. At one time, when the Bhagavan, glorious Heruka, was dwelling in the lotus of the consort's bhaga. Hearing this tantra, it is the meaning of being manifest. The Bhagavan, the Thus-Gone One, is called Bhagavan where he possesses qualities such as dominion. Such a possessor of qualities, dwelling in the consort's bhaga, is the meaning of explaining this tantra. In another way, the word 'thus' means that all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are spoken of in one Dharma and not separately. Therefore, this is said to be heard thus by the Bhagavan himself. That 'thus' is E-Vam, where the syllable E is led to the nature of wisdom, and the syllable Vam is led to the nature of means. Actually, E is the mother, and Vam is the means. Byin du is the Bodhicitta. From such a Bodhicitta, understand that all the tantras, etc., arise. It is said, 'At one time when I understood thus.' Or again, 'I thus' is E-Vam-Ma-Ya, where E is connected with 'this,' Vam is connected with 'word,' 'I' is connected with Ma, and 'thus' is connected with Ya. It is also connected with the four mudras. Buddha Eye is the Karma Mudra, connected with E, which is also connected with 'this.' Mamaki is the Dharma Mudra, connected with Vam and 'word.' White-Clad Mother is the Maha Mudra, connected with Ma and 'I.' Tara is the Samaya Mudra, connected with Ya and 'thus.' Thus, it is said, 'At one time when one knows or realizes the possession of the four mudras.' Or again, E-Vam is led to show all the doors of Dharma. Also, in the Great Yoga Tantra called 'Uncommon Secret,' it is said: 'E is the very nature of wisdom, Vam is the lord of great joy. The indestructible bindu is that very one, from which the very letter is born. The letter of the Dharma Mudra, who knows that very one by what knowledge? That one turns the wheel of Dharma for all sentient beings.'

Translation. Also, in the illusion of the two syllables E-vam, the all-knowing one dwells here. In the beginning of teaching the sacred Dharma, E-vam is therefore explained first. As it is said, all dharmas arise from E-vam. If it is said that the connection between words and meaning is a summary, then how should knowledge and realization be done as mentioned in hearing? The answer is that the Tathagata speaks according to intention, not without intention. This is explained not literally. Thus, the inseparability of wisdom and means is knowledge, and from that, the ultimate is achieved, neither formed nor separated, and in the moment when nothing is perceived in the middle, it is called one time. The name Bhagavan is said in this: power and so on are complete, virtues are said to be six, the glorious and wealthy Buddha is called Bhagavan. Thus it is said "endowed". Subduing, and also subduing the demons of afflictions and so on, therefore it is called Bhagavan. Thus it is said, it is called Bhagavan. For the body, speech, and mind vajra of all Tathagatas, the five Tathagatas, the consorts Mamaki and others dwell in the bhaga (bhaga, Devanagari: भग, Roman transliteration: bhaga, meaning: auspicious). Some place the Vajra of the Bhagavan's delight himself in the bhaga (bhaga, Devanagari: भग, Roman transliteration: bhaga, meaning: auspicious) of the consort. Thus, Vajradhara asked: What is the essence of the body, speech, and mind of all Tathagatas? The Bhagavan replied: The essence of the body, speech, and mind of all Tathagatas, the most secret of secrets, well done, well done! Thus it is said, it is a word of praise. Great Vajra, Vajragarbha, Great Bodhisattva, is the praise of the questioner Bodhisattva Vajragarbha. Vajrasattva and Mahasattva, Samayasattva Mahasattva, Essence Delight, are the four Herukas born from Delight Vajra. Vajrasattva is Vairochana, the nature of the body. In reality, one face and two arms. Mahasattva is Amitabha, the nature of speech,
