English

In order to subdue the teachers of the heretics, (he manifested) forms with five faces and five topknots, five tufts of hair, naked and wearing ash-colored clothes, and so on. Similarly, in order to subdue the beings of the six realms, (he manifested) the forms appropriate for subduing each of them, and led them to attain enlightenment. This tantra is even more secret than the secret, and is taught as the very last of all tantras. The reason for mentioning the name of the glorious Hevajra Tantra at the beginning is so that the listeners do not turn into a reversed limb, therefore the name is mentioned at the beginning. Moreover, it is first taught as possessing four necessary limbs of purpose and connection: the statement, the need, the connection, and the need of the need. Among these, the statement is what is taught from "Thus I have heard, at one time" to "Giving freedom from faults, liberation, and peace, you are the father, the self-nature." The need is to enter the mandala according to this itself and the text, receive empowerment, keep the vows, obtain the oral instructions, and accomplish through the mandala, fire offering, offering, recitation, and one-pointed samadhi, which is the need. From that, obtaining the siddhi of the great mudra, benefiting beings like the twelve examples of illusion until samsara is empty, is the need of the need. The connection is that entering the mandala and guarding the vows, etc., is the cause, and obtaining the siddhi of the great mudra is the result, and these two are connected in the manner of cause and effect, so it is the connection. The first chapter of this tantra teaches thirty-two (wisdoms), and it is said that the second chapter was separated by the teacher. Some say that the first chapter is the first cause of the Vajra Net Tantra, and the first of the two divided here is the later tantra, and the second is the later of the later tantra. Because it is not biased. This is a brief explanation of the meaning of the words from the commentary written by the teacher Vajra Chandala. Thus I have heard, at one time, the compiler here, Vajrapani, heard only this (tantra) from the teacher and passed it down.

It is not that it is not, but it means that I personally heard this tantra at one time. Some say that the compiler of this tantra is Vajragarbha, and he also said that when the Bhagavan was residing in the palace of freedom and on the top of Mount Sumeru, he preached other tantras, but at one time, when the Bhagavan glorious Heruka was residing in the lotus of the consort, he heard this tantra, meaning he heard it personally. The Bhagavan Tathagata refers to one who possesses qualities such as freedom, and is called Bhagavan. Possessing such qualities, residing in the lotus of the consort, and preaching this tantra, is the meaning of this. Another way of saying it is that all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas preach the same Dharma, not different Dharmas, therefore, it is said that the Bhagavan himself heard these words. And this "thus" is ཨེ་ཝཾ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning), the letter ཨེ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning) is considered to be the nature of wisdom, the letter ཝཾ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning) is considered to be the nature of means, in reality ཨེ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning) is the mother, ཝཾ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning) is the means, what is given is Bodhicitta, from such Bodhicitta, it is understood that all tantras etc. will arise. This means that at one time, I realized "thus". Or, "thus I" is ཨེ་ཝཾ་མ་ཡཱ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning), ཨེ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning) is connected with the word "this", ཝཾ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning) is connected with the word "speech", "I" is connected with the word "mother", "of" is connected with the word "ya", this is related to the four mudras, Buddha eye is the karma mudra, connected with ཨེ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning), also related to the word "this". Mamaki is the Dharma mudra, connected with ཝཾ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning) and the word "speech". White-robed mother is the Mahamudra, related to the words "mother" and "I". Tara is the samaya mudra, connected with the words "ya" and "of". Therefore, at the time of realizing or knowing the four mudras. Or, ཨེ་ཝཾ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning) is considered to show all Dharma doors, it is also said in the uncommon secret great yoga tantra: ཨེ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning) is the nature of wisdom, ཝཾ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning) is the lord of great joy, the indestructible bindu is it, letters also arise from it, it is the Dharma mudra.

The letters are: Who knows that itself by which it is known? That will turn the wheel of Dharma for all sentient beings. Furthermore, the two letters E-Vam are like an illusion, the all-knowing one dwells here, to show the beginning of the holy Dharma, therefore, E-Vam is spoken first. As it is said, all dharmas arise from E-Vam, therefore it is said thus. If it is said that the connection between words and meaning is accumulation, then how should knowledge and realization be, as mentioned in hearing? The answer is: The Tathagata speaks according to intention, not without intention, this is not an explanation according to the literal meaning, as it is said. Thus, the inseparability of wisdom and means is knowledge, from that to the ultimate, neither clinging nor separation, in the moment when nothing is apparent in the middle, it is called one time. The name Bhagavan, that is, in this itself: complete with power and so on, the explanation of the six qualities, the glorious and wealthy Buddha, is called Bhagavan, as it is said. The subduer, also subduing the demons of afflictions and so on, therefore is called Bhagavan. As it is said, therefore it is called Bhagavan. The Vajra of body, speech, and mind of all Tathagatas, in that, the five families of Tathagatas, the consorts Mamaki and others dwell in the Bhaga. Some place the Vajra of the Bhagavan's own delight in the Bhaga of the consort. As it is said, Vajragarbha asked, that is, thus: What is the essence of the body, speech, and mind of all Tathagatas? The Bhagavan taught: The essence of the body, speech, and mind of all Tathagatas, the most secret of secrets, well done, well done, thus taught, is a word of praise. Great Vajra, Vajragarbha, great Bodhisattva, is to praise the questioner, the Bodhisattva Vajragarbha. Vajrasattva and the great Bodhisattva, the great Bodhisattva of the vow, the delight of essence, that is, the four Herukas arise from the Vajra of delight, Vajrasattva is Vairochana, the nature of the body. Actually, the head.
