Therefore, reverence for the guru is the nature of Vajradhara, the nature of joy. The so-called taming of the senses is also the nature of restraint. Pride and anger arise from various (causes). Liberation is abandonment. That is sure to be accomplished, meaning certain. The so-called "for a while" refers to that completely transformed nature, the nature of the mandala of the two, which is true wisdom. Therefore it is said: "Through constant practice of yoga, accomplishment is attained through samadhi. Practice secretly for a month, until the mudra is not obtained. From continuous practice, realizing non-duality, accomplishment is attained through samadhi." A month is the limit. One is non-duality. Therefore, secrecy is not the realm of the Shravakas and others. Until is to say, the garland of Nada, in which the selflessness mother and the two are indistinguishable, is ya. That which exists in those, that is until. After that, the mudra is the attainment of the great mudra, that is, the attainment of the accomplishment of the mudra. Not using it means that one should not be attached to it at all. As it is said: "Abandoning the three, the doer, the eater, contemplate the ultimate truth." That is (that meaning). The cause of obtaining the mudra is explained: "The mantra practitioner who has obtained permission, the yoginis give instructions. Take the great mudra, and hold the vajra for the sake of sentient beings." Alas! Vajradhara, the meaning of sentient beings is the nature of the union of the three realms, the ultimate truth. "Meaning" is complete. Taking the mudra is the selflessness mother. "So-and-so" refers to that which cannot be indicated by saying "this" and so on, therefore it is "that." Permission is the obtaining of permission. The mantra practitioner is one who has true wisdom. The yoginis refer to the selflessness mother and so on. Giving instructions is giving teachings. This refers to the fact that until one has obtained the instructions of the Vajra Yoginis, one will not obtain the accomplishment of the mudra. That one who is obtained is also, with long eyes, adorned with beauty and youth, fully endowed with Śrīkahapura, purified by bodhicitta. That also refers to the great mudra. Obtaining refers to bodhicitta, true wisdom.
