Asked if there is a need for sequential meditation? The answer is, there is no need for anything. The Blessed One said: Ema, great Bodhisattva! You are deluded by the power of faith. Ema, is the Blessed One himself feeling astonished. Great Bodhisattva Vajragarbha, if he asks like that, then he is deluded. That is to say, he has lost the Dharma, because he does not understand the Dharma, so he cannot measure it. Why? Because driven by the power of faith, he only recognizes the Dharmakaya, and does not recognize the Nirmanakaya and Sambhogakaya. Because his own mind is astonished, he speaks again to Vajragarbha: It is impossible to say what kind of happiness there is in the insubstantiality of the body. In terms of pervasion and pervader, happiness pervades beings. The word body refers to the characteristic of accumulation, that is, the nature of the five aggregates. Its insubstantial happiness is the wisdom of experience. It is impossible to say from what happiness arises. Therefore, in terms of what should be pervaded and what pervades, what is pervaded is the body, and what pervades is happiness. Such self-nature of blissful wisdom pervades the beings of the three realms. Or, the insubstantiality of the body is, the Vajradhara of the selflessness of the insubstantiality of form. Moreover, the body is the characteristic of accumulation, this is both the body and the insubstantiality, so it is the insubstantiality of the body. The self-nature Vajradhara of accumulation that exists there, is certainly the selflessness. What arises from it is the Dharmadhatu. Happiness is innate wisdom. Moreover, happiness cannot be spoken of, because it is beyond the realm of words. Therefore, in terms of pervader and pervaded, what pervades is the wisdom of innate happiness. The pervasion of beings is the meaning of true wisdom that is inseparable from beings. In order to indicate it with a metaphor: just like the fragrance on a flower, if the flower has no substance, it cannot be known. Similarly, because form etc. are insubstantial, happiness cannot be determined either. Just like the fragrance that depends on the flower, if there is no substance of the flower, it cannot be known and understood.
