Adding the twelfth characteristic is Vajradhara. Or, the Lord of the Ten Bhumis himself. Here, the Lord refers to the form of Vajradhara Heruka. The Lord of the Ten Bhumis means: these themselves show the nature of the ten bhumi places, including the place. What is so special and excellent about it? Because it is not a different place, it is only the two places where one abides in the ten bhumis. Because the twelfth bhumi is not different, the twelve places, including the place and the nearby place, are the ten bhumis themselves. These are the Extremely Joyful, the Immaculate, the Luminous, the Radiant, the Very Difficult to Conquer, the Manifest, the Far-Reaching, the Immovable, the Good Intelligence, and the Cloud of Dharma. The first bhumi is called the Extremely Joyful. How is it called this? Because it accomplishes the meaning of beginning, and after attaining the transcendental wisdom beyond the following world, one obtains the joy and happiness of the Great Seal, so it is called the Extremely Joyful. Being free from all the defilements of immoral conduct such as attachment, and attaining the Immaculate, it is called the Immaculate. The light of wisdom, the nature of burning immeasurable firewood, is called the Luminous. These themselves cultivate the dharmas of the path to enlightenment, and attain the dominion free from afflictions, so it is called the Very Difficult to Conquer. Meditating on the manifestation of following actions, and without paying attention to various signs, one attains the Manifest Bhumi, so it is called the Manifest. Because one has the power to move far away from constantly paying attention to signs, it is called the Far-Reaching. Because one has power over all afflictions, both with and without signs, both spontaneously and non-spontaneously, even the winds of karma and so on cannot shake it, so it is called the Immovable. Because one has the power to teach all kinds of dharmas, one attains vast wisdom without fault, so it is called the Good Intelligence. The treasury of dharma, like a thick cloud, pervades all three realms, and satisfies the realms of sentient beings like the sky with the rain of dharma, so it is called the Cloud of Dharma. Extremely subtle

Since the obscuration of afflictions has been eliminated, and the knowledge of being unattached and indestructible has been attained, the eleventh bhumi is called the Buddha-bhumi. Since all the habitual tendencies of afflictions have been eliminated, and the manifest enlightenment of omniscient wisdom has been attained, the twelfth bhumi is called the Vajradhara-bhumi. The ten bhumis, such as the Joyful One, are of the nature of aspiring conduct. Since aspiring conduct also becomes the cause, it abides in the Buddha-bhumi, which has become the result, and is not separate. Since the Buddha-bhumi, which has become the result, also becomes the cause of the Vajradhara-bhumi, which has become the result, there is no separation. Therefore, the aspiring conduct bhumi, the Buddha-bhumi, and the Vajradhara-bhumi are inseparable from the ten bhumis. The ten bhumis, the charnel ground, and the near charnel ground are inseparable. Places and near places, etc., should be combined in the order of the ten bhumis, such as the Joyful One. The ten bhumis are the Lord Protector himself. Both the Protector and Vajradhara are shown. Others consider it different, that is, different from the Buddha and Vajradhara bhumis, which is not the eleventh bhumi. The powers and objects of the bodhisattvas of the ten bhumis, such as places and near places, should be viewed as pure. The charnel ground is the Buddha-bhumi, and consciousness should be viewed as pure. The near charnel ground is the Vajradhara-bhumi, and it should be understood as having transcended the experience of aspects such as bliss. Here, it is because of being inseparable from the three vajras. Bodhisattvas, Buddhas, and Vajradharas are all the bodhisattvas, Buddhas, and Vajradharas of the ten bhumis, and there is no difference in the manifest enlightenment of omniscient wisdom. Therefore, Vajrasattva is Vajradhara. The Great Bodhisattva is the Buddha. The Samaya Sattva is the Bodhisattva. The division of the Vajra family lineage has been briefly and extensively explained. The ten, such as places and near places, are the powers and objects. The charnel ground is the mind of the nature of Nada. The near charnel ground is beyond that. O Blessed One!
