That is to say, the five Tathagatas are the five completely pure skulls. Or, arising from Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Hūṃ), the skulls of the five Buddhas, five is vast, because the lineage of those who have attained Buddhahood is limitless, so those are the skulls. Ka, because it protects the wisdom of bliss, it is true wisdom, the skulls of the five Buddhas are the nature of the limitless wisdom of the Buddhas. Arising from Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Hūṃ) there is no distinction. Becoming one and many, without distinction, because that nature without distinction is ungraspable. Yogis make distinctions. Dividing the skull into five finger portions is called a crest. To this, a fragment of the skull, the mudra of the vajra skull should be given, and from that the syllable Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Hūṃ) should be added. These are the meanings of these words. Or, holding is not wavering. What is that? It is "the five finger portion of the skull." Five refers to the five wisdoms such as the mirror-like wisdom. The fingers of those are, Āṃ (Tibetan: ཨཱཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: आं, Romanized Sanskrit: āṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Āṃ) Dakini, No-self Mother, etc., the fifteen yoginis completely separated. Those encircling and entwining, existing with the nature of pervading and being pervaded, so the five fingers are the mandala of fire, inseparable from the two mandalas. That is the skull, that is, true wisdom. Therefore, portion refers to the word that reaches complete separation. Thus, after dividing the skull into five finger portions, it is completed. Where is it completed? On the crest. The Dharma realm pervades and is inseparable in a special way, that is Vajradhara, is the remainder of the words. Furthermore, what the yogi should divide is, the hair belt is double. That is double. From where is it divided? Its meaning has been stated. It is divided from the nature of skillful means and wisdom. Or, the sound of hair is the type of hair, in which hair is bodhicitta. The belt is Avadhūtī (Sanskrit Devanagari: अवधूती, Romanized Sanskrit: avadūtī) No-self Mother, because they are interconnected, it is double. Or, what is related to Avadhūtī (Sanskrit Devanagari: अवधूती, Romanized Sanskrit: avadūtī) is bodhicitta. That is also

It is the belt of the skull, with the nature of skillful means and wisdom wrapped twice. The two wrappings are the inseparability of the two sounds of vowels and consonants. Holding is to make it unmoving. In addition, the adornment of the mudra is said to be pure: "Ashes and hair, held for offering. The yogi holds with conduct." This refers to ashes, which are the ashes formed after cremation, or the powder of bones after cremation. "Holding hair for offering" means holding something made from the hair of a thief hanging for the offering of a yogi. "Holding with conduct" means wandering. Or, the word ash is the selflessness mother because it is bone. The word hair refers to the Vajra holder, that is, ashes and hair, etc. Holding for offering means making it immaculate, extremely pure, the nature of the Dharmadhatu. That is the yogi, because he has yoga. Holding is to become unmoving. Conduct is the act of wandering. "The form of the khatvanga is wisdom," it is said. And "With the form of skillful means, it is the hand drum," the purity spoken of is reversed from reason. The word hand drum refers to recitation, and the contemplation of the khatvanga is wisdom, the meaning of which is clear. Or, the word hand drum refers to the nature of the sound of vowels and consonants, which is the indestructible Vajra holder. Moreover, recitation is the nature of continuous recitation, so without interruption, it is the mandala of the self-nature vow. The contemplation of the khatvanga is wisdom, which means that the most supreme wisdom is wisdom. What is it? It is the contemplation of the khatvanga. The hair of the khatvanga refers to the fifteen dakinis, ultimately returning to the space-faring dakini. The contemplation of them refers to samadhi, which is the mandala of wisdom. These two are also, these are recitation and contemplation. How is it? "With the conduct of the Vajra skull," that is, wandering in that state. Or, for recitation and contemplation, recitation is the self of the vow mandala with the nature of constant arising and the mandala of wisdom. Contemplation refers to entering samadhi by making the vow mandala and the wisdom mandala inseparable. Or, because it is recitation and contemplation.
