The five kinds of wrathful ones. Among them, what is the cause of anger? It is Vajragarbha. This Bodhisattva's name is consistent with its meaning. Such a Bodhisattva lineage is difficult to find. He was amazed by this and called out, "Emaho!" That is to say, that Garbha Bodhisattva Mahasattva said, "Good, good!" which refers to the mind of benefiting others by means of extremely strong methods, which is great compassion. Furthermore, he accomplishes various benefits at uncertain times, which is great Bodhi. To properly contemplate this is a great Bodhisattva. Whoever has such a mind to benefit others, as well as a mind to benefit oneself, that is a great person. Therefore, he said "Good!" twice. "Listen" means to focus on listening. This shows that such a lineage and such a mind of a virtuous person has a connection here. How can one know this lineage? Through the characteristics of faith and desire for its qualities. As the Noble Lankavatara Sutra says: "From smoke, one knows there is fire; from waterfowl, one knows there is water; the lineage of a wise Bodhisattva is known from the signs." This dispels the first conceptualization. To dispel the second conceptualization, it is said: "Vajrasattva, as well as the Great Bodhisattva, as well as the Samaya Great Bodhisattva Garbha." It is true that there is no other superior to Vajradhara. However, with great compassion as the main thing, the Joyful Vajra of the Vajra family is the supreme way of holding the Vajra. Therefore, it is said that this is the essence of it, and the meaning of supreme is the meaning of essence. This dispels the second conceptualization. The so-called Joyful Vajra dispels the third conceptualization. Vajragarbha requested, what did he request? He asked three questions. For what purpose did he ask? In order to elucidate the Vajradhara Svabhava Mahasattva through the three questions. He gave answers, what answers did he give? Just as the three questions were asked, he answered three. "Indivisible" means unable to be distinguished. Vajra refers to

It is in accordance with the Vajra and the Dharma. The three realms (srid gsum) refer to all the Dharmas of the Buddhas that exist and arise, hence they are called 'existence' (srid pa). Why is it that here only the Dharmas of the Buddhas are considered 'existence'? Because they are primary. Why are all included? Because of the reason of pervasiveness. What are the three like? They are distinguished by body, speech, and mind. Therefore, the three realms are indeed the three realms. Their oneness is equality itself, which is the Bodhisattva. What is this oneness like? Because the seeds of all contaminated (leaky, with outflows) dharmas are exhausted, and the consciousness that appears as body, place, and enjoyment is ceased, it is one, immaculate, infinite, like the center of the sky. The stream of mind, free from the characteristic of the alaya-consciousness, having attained the characteristic of the uncontaminated realm, the characteristic of the power of all the Buddha's dharmas, the basis of the seed, the nature of being without appearance and clear, the essence of great bliss, the three realms existing as long as space exists, is the oneness of the three realms. Why is it called Bodhisattva? Because it itself is extremely pure. Here, 'Bodhisattva' is a term of praise. The word 'Bodhisattva' is connected to the ultimate of excellence, that is, 'extremely pure,' and is related to the meaning of Dharmakaya. Purity is the body of a great being, the body of liberation, while extreme purity is the Dharmakaya, the place, support, and seed-basis of the Buddhas' dharmas, hence it is called Dharmakaya. The most important body of the Dharmakaya is the Dharmadhatu without beginning or end, naturally luminous, always being Suchness, hence it is called Suchness. It is never separate and indivisible, hence it is Vajra, its nature is stable, meaning it is eternal. The sudden purification of defilements is indivisible, increasing through the stages of the grounds, such as great joy in the absence of things, up to the Buddha-ground, its nature is such that nothing is lacking as far as space extends. 'Wisdom and reason with this' means that knowing after distinguishing things is wisdom. 'Reason' means combination, and those themselves are the basis for wisdom.
