That which is called "Equal Union with Joy" is for the sake of properly uniting the method and wisdom that precede supreme joy. That which is called "Union Together Without Self" is for the sake of uniting all those who proceed without self in the Dharma. What is said as "Gathering Near," and "Without Covetousness," etc., that absence of covetousness should also be understood as twofold, distinguished by the reality of being with and without focus. That which is called "City Desolate, You and I" is spoken here having made cause and effect inseparable. Furthermore, it also says, "The body of the Bodhisattva truly arises; one should meditate as the lord of the mandala," etc., and "Vajrasattva and others arise from this." If it is said like this, wouldn't there be a contradiction? It is not so, because the Vajrasattva that has become the cause itself is the lord of the mandala; one should view that Vajrasattva and others arise from that. That which is called "That is the Beginning," etc., is that the parts of the beginning, end, and middle are imperceptible; the meaning here is being separated from time, place, direction, etc. Regarding "Existence and," etc., existence is the nature of birth, abiding, and destruction; that is without it. That which is called "Not Nirvana" is that all things of Nirvana are of the nature of cessation; that is also not it. That which is called "This is the Supreme Great Bliss" is that this itself is the supreme great bliss, by the self-awareness that constantly arises in the present. Regarding "Not Other," other is the nature of the form of others, etc.; that is not it. Regarding "Also Not Self," the nature of my creation and especially abiding and ultimately accomplishing, that is also not it. Regarding "Supreme Limit," etc., it is directed towards the cessation and arising of supreme joy, in the middle of those. The nature of desire and non-desire is empty because of non-existence. Because one knows and experiences oneself, it is not empty. Because it is the nature of body, speech, and mind, it is Heruka. In the difficult commentary on the Hevajra Tantra, "The Source of Memory," composed by the teacher Nāgpopa (Kṛṣṇa), the explanation of the fifth chapter. Sixth, Explanation of the chapter on the ritual of painted images. Of whatever ritual

Regarding the term "ground" and so forth. Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and whatever I have not spoken. It is said that the tantra is difficult to find and is shown to be unsurpassed. Therefore, how should one perform the rituals of painted images and so forth, as mentioned in the tantras? Although it is so, it should not be refuted here. Because if one paints the assembly cloth deities and so forth as spoken, the accumulation of merit of the yogis will become great, and the hands and feet and so forth of the meditators will become clear, and they will quickly attain the fruit of enlightenment. In the difficult commentary on the Hevajra Tantra, "The Source of Memory," composed by the teacher Nāgpopa, the explanation of the sixth chapter. Seventh, the explanation of the chapter on eating. Then the goddess asked him. And so on, because he saw the defilements of the world, to make those who are tormented by great desire have faith, and for the sake of those who love books, he said. I will explain the book. And so on. The term "fortunate" means that here the words of the Tathagata should be taught, but the great secret, which is the most excellent, should be kept very secret from those who are fortunate. Therefore, he said "on the path" and so on, to make a distinction. He spoke of the size of the book. "The cubit is twelve fingers." And so on. Regarding the term "book" and so forth, if one shows books and paintings to those who do not have frogs, it is extremely profound and not the realm of the Hearers and Solitary Realizers. Because it is extremely difficult to find, they do not understand it and think that it was not spoken by the Buddha, otherwise the demons would say that it was spoken to torment sentient beings. They will think and say this, and therefore they will fall into the Avici hell for an immeasurable time. If the mantra practitioner does not protect it in this way, he will break his vows and will not be able to attain accomplishment in other lifetimes. The term "where" refers to the place as it is. The term "eat" refers to the nature of the feast circle, focusing on
