No! That is to say, the realm of phenomena is the appearance of all things. Because the mind essence that appears as aggregates and so on is condensed into one, "all appearances are a collection" refers to being co-emergent. The so-called "compassionate means," means is closeness, that is, from conforming to the Dharma, it becomes a branch of practice of one's own nature. Also, means is regarded as the nature of discernment. That is to say, due to the difference in wisdom, the wisdom that focuses on sentient beings, compassion is like means. For those who cling to appearances, it is thought that "having compassion is a conventional term." Therefore, it is said in the sutra, "The seal is free from cause," meaning it is free from causes and so on. Wisdom emptiness is the seal. To clarify its meaning, it is said in the sutra, "Empty" and so on, that is, the nature of all dharmas is emptiness, so they are also empty in nature, and so is compassion. All dharmas, through true discernment, are inseparable from emptiness, because that is its nature. If it is said that these are inseparable and not independent of each other, what is it? It is said in the sutra, "Bodhi mind," Bodhi is non-dual wisdom. Mind is the wisdom that has the nature of illusion and so on, and merely grasps things. Therefore, it is both Bodhi and mind, so it is Bodhi mind, which is related to the wisdom that has the nature of skillful means and wisdom. The word "related" is used to clarify the intention. The word Bodhi mind is an external meaning. Ultimately, it is the way of realization from the guru's oral instructions and realization from oneself. Therefore, it is said in the sutra that there is not the slightest bit of other actions such as recitation, that is, the so-called "no mantra" and so on. If one can attain Bodhi in that way, then it is said in the sutra, "That itself is the mantra." That is to say, it is the same as the mind essence mentioned earlier, and it is summarized together with the mind essence of emptiness, as such, it is integrated into the mind with the nature of skillful means and wisdom. This tangible thing is recitation and so on, it is not that there is no recitation and so on at all. However, the grasper and the grasped
