This is called a chapter. This is the first, not the second. These are the first chapter from the explanation of the glorious Hevajra. Second, the chapter of mantras. Now, in the first chapter, power and many rituals are briefly explained. The extensive explanation is the chapter of mantras spoken by the Blessed One. It is called mantra and so on. A mantra is a word that urges the very nature of reality, and the manifest expression of a mantra is a chapter. I shall explain its divisions. Among them, contemplating the deities, offering, consecrating, performing fire pujas, mandalas, and so on, what precedes the sections of actions is giving the torma, starting with reciting the mantra of the torma first. In Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओम्, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Literal meaning: Om) and so on, Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओम्, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Literal meaning: Om) is an affirmation. From the letter of Aham (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Literal meaning), removing the letter Ham (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Literal meaning) and changing it to the letter A (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Literal meaning), it is the mind Ahamkara, which has become the place of grasping at self. Ahamkara relies on self-grasping, therefore it has become the basis of afflictions and so on. Therefore, the origin of the arising of afflictions is self itself. Akaromukham (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Literal meaning) means to make primary. What is primary? It is said Sarvadharmanam (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Literal meaning), that is, the aggregates and so on. The mind itself is arrogant, from those arise afflictions. From those arise the conceptualizations of the aggregates and so on, thus it is thought. What is it like? It is said Adya (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Literal meaning) and so on, that is, from the very beginning, everything is unborn. This is also the unborn that negates the non-unborn, because it is being born and yet unborn, therefore it is A. The very birth is thoroughly understood in that way, thus it is thought. Therefore, things with causes and effects and so on, are completely harmed and eliminated by valid cognition, it is merely an appearance, therefore it is said Adyanutpattatvata (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Literal meaning). What is the cause? Adyanutpattatvata (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Literal meaning) is the way of being unborn from the very beginning, Sarvadharmanam (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Literal meaning), that is, all phenomena have the gate of A. It should be understood in this way. What is its nature like? It is said Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओम्, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Literal meaning: Om) and so on. The letter Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओम्, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Literal meaning: Om) is the emanation body with the nature of body. The letter Ah (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Literal meaning) is the enjoyment body with the nature of speech. The letter Hum (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Literal meaning) is the

It is the form of the body. Furthermore, what is the nature of other things? The meaning of "PHAT SVAHA" is that "PHAT" (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) is wisdom, and "SVAHA" (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) is compassion. Beings are all sentient beings. This mantra is what the one who gives the torma should contemplate when inviting the torma to descend. Alternatively, doing is karma. That which makes the non-existent become existent, the meaning of "AIO" is "AKARO" (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning), which is the so-called emptiness of the Dharmadhatu. Therefore, emptiness and the undying Suchness, as well as truth, Dharmadhatu, Dharma arising as it is, Dharma abiding as it is, the edge of reality, and the inconceivable realm are all different ways of saying the same name. Therefore, there is no change from the nature of space, and actions are completely abandoned. The remaining part is the same as before. Briefly explaining how the deities arise: For the Tathagatas, what was said at that time was the extensive explanation. The seeds of the Tathagatas, etc., the letters that cause growth are "BHRAM AM JRIH KHAM HUM" (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning), which in order are the seeds of Vairochana, Ratnasambhava, Amitabha, Amoghasiddhi, and Akshobhya. After the previous torma, this is shown, that is, the five letters "BI RA SHU MA MU," in order, in the form of the five amritas, the meaning of the torma itself being eaten, etc., being complete and mature, what is said is the three letters of the seed of completion. In "OM," etc., "DEVA" means playing with various emanations and benefiting sentient beings individually according to the Dharma, which is the part of compassion. "PICHU" arises from something as soft as cotton. "VAJRA" means indestructible, which is the part of wisdom. This mantra is the essence of the sixteen-armed one, from which the mantra is extracted, which will appear in the explanation of the sixteen-armed one. All mantras, etc., should also be observed as they appear, correctly combined and expanded, not pressed for a long time, but between the main mantra and the two letters "SVAHA," insert the letters "HUM" (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) and "PHAT" (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning), just as other trees are connected between two trees.
