obtained from the collection of. Some people think that this refers to recognizing the remainder of co-emergent joy simply by counting, which is to regard the fall of bodhicitta itself as joylessness, thus causing co-emergent joy to be preceded by joylessness. But this is not true, because what is to be proven has already been established. Because co-emergence is accomplished by conditions. This is either direct or indirect. If someone asks, if one understands through joy and supreme joy, then what is the use of following joylessness? Because joylessness is what needs to be proven, not the prover. If the fall of bodhicitta itself is suffering, then how can it be said to be joy? This is self-contradictory. First is wanting to touch, this sentence is a word of seven letters. Touching refers to touching those objects. Wanting refers to the time when one wants to touch, which is the initial joy. Second is wanting happiness, which refers to merely wanting happiness, which is the meaning of supreme joy. Third is the destruction of desire, which refers to not being attached to the happiness of desire. Here, because there is no desire, that joylessness has no attachment. Therefore, the third joylessness is not clinging to the object, but clinging to the remainder of merely happiness. The fourth refers to the fourth joy, which is the one that becomes co-emergent joy. Among these joys, supreme joys, and joys, what are these joys like? The answer is, one should practice. What is to be practiced is joy, etc., which is with conceptual thought. The fourth is the meaning of being without conceptual thought. For supreme joy, etc., supreme joy is speech, because it is slightly bound by the nature of the habit of clinging to self and what belongs to self. Joylessness is being free from attachment. Nirvana is abandoning the bonds of karma and afflictions. Middle Way refers to merely entering into equanimity, which is the true arising. Merely joy is like that, it is the meaning of initial joy. That is also the aspect of samsara. Abandon these co-emergences, here these refer to joy

These three, such as, the nature of being utterly free from clinging in samsara and nirvana is co-emergent, so it is thought. If asked what it is like, it is said, without desire, etc., which means without attachment, without detachment, and without Madhyamaka, which means being liberated from attachment and detachment, etc., and not separately observing, so it is understood. Because joy and supreme joy are attachment, and detachment from joy is without attachment. These in the middle, even if the fourth is understood, will not become the object of observation. So how should such a nature be understood? To this it is said, it should be said, unspeakable, etc., because it is not the object of speech. Without an object, it is separated from the nature of form and sound, etc., and in any direction, like a vase, etc., it cannot be observed by the nature of the eye, etc. So, is co-emergence just a name, like a rabbit's horn, which cannot be understood in any way after analysis? The answer is, I, etc., is co-emergence unknowable? However, the other's voice is internal, so it should be observed as I to myself, that is, in the sense of the seventh case. Therefore, I to myself should understand co-emergence. This also depends on merit, that is, it arises from the accumulation of offerings to the guru and the Three Jewels, etc. If asked, how does one serve the guru, etc., like this? The answer is, the guru's, etc., the guru's means are sequential, that is, from one to one, meaning the guru from one to one. Therefore, one should rely on the guru's means, because one relies on it with offerings, etc., as necessary things preceding. Through these reliances, the guru's mind becomes joyful and clear, and thus one obtains the means of joy, etc., arising from the union of the lineage's desire mother. Therefore, it is merit, and I to myself should understand co-emergence. Now, in order to show the equality of taste in this, it is said, inferior and middle, etc. For the explanation of this teaching, it is said, the position of the inferior is
