It is indeed a word with laughter. That is, the wise are those who believe in the words of Brahmins and others. It is also said, 'Killing one's own goats, etc.' is the word of the Vedas. 'For all castes, it is edible, and there are always five kinds of clawed animals: rabbits, female animals, musk rats, porcupines and turtles, and rhinoceros, these five kinds.' This is the word of the sages. 'With consciousness, strength, and power, after seven animal rebirths, in various ways, the wise capture and eat them.' This is the word of the pleasure-makers. Therefore, eating also symbolizes merit, otherwise it would become impure, which is the difference in how they are captured. Then, why do these people seem like wise men? Because they act contrary to their own doctrines, rely on meaningless parts, and indulge in doubt. It is also said that the Vedas say: 'Because compassion is the root of Dharma, hunting wild animals, craving meat, and performing sacrifices will lead to inferior merit of karma.' The sages say that this is universally applicable. 'Among them, 'because of craving the meat of wild animals, one will be reborn as a living being,' this is not universally established. The pleasure-makers also say: 'First, increase compassion.' Therefore, killing will lead to destruction, so if one is convinced of this and indulges in it, then how can the so-called wise men not be the object of ridicule? Some also say that there is a word 'wise men'. Its meaning is that those who generate compassion for themselves and kill are wise, intelligent, and knowledgeable, this is the saying in the stories. There, past knowledge says: 'Inverted,' saying that this is not wise. Therefore, compassion is to eliminate the suffering of beings, such actions are the root of all achievements, and in order to understand this principle, it is said: 'Compassion,' and so on. The definition of compassion is to want to liberate beings from suffering and the root of suffering. If so, then how are the supernatural powers, etc., spoken of? 'Cruel,' etc., cruel means harming the Three Jewels.

Because inappropriate actions increase suffering for oneself, they are inappropriate. By abandoning these actions, all actions related to the correct path, such as manifestation, etc., are widely known. So, what is this like? As it is said, "Lord of Rituals," etc. "Ritual" means to accomplish through ritual. And "Lord" is the most supreme. Therefore, through the word "Lord of Rituals," it should be understood as "the ritual of the Lord," because it is excellent in expressing the meaning of compassion. For sentient beings with universal compassion, manifestation and other actions are permitted. Therefore, why give suffering to the malicious? Because as long as they do not break away from the root of sin, they will not be separated from sentient beings. This also shows that the wisdom of manifestation, etc., is also the ultimate embodiment of compassion. Among them, to show what should be done in the place of gathering, as it is said, "Here, like this," etc. "Daytime, Bhagavan Vajradhara," means that daytime is the part of skillful means. That is, it is transformed into merit from the nature of luminosity. Night is the part of wisdom, that is, because it is free from defilement, there is no fault. Merit and fault are skillful means and wisdom respectively. Therefore, the nature of merit and fault is in the time of going and coming. In this way, if there is no merit and fault, what is Nirvana and Samsara like? In this way, merit and fault are sometimes Nirvana, and sometimes Samsara. Because of impurity, merit is also Samsara. From complete purity, fault is also Nirvana. That is to say, if there is attachment, Nirvana is also a fault; if there is no attachment, Samsara is also merit. Regarding "Do not do a little," etc. The actions of a noble person are what should be done, that is, giving, etc. The opposite of this is what should not be done. "Existence is non-existence" means non-existence. "Not to be eaten" means grains, etc., that should not be eaten. "Existence is non-existence" means that although this is the case, these can be eaten. "Unthinkable" means that by doing good deeds, one should not think, that is, others.
