Furthermore, it is said: When the Vajra of Samadhi shatters the vase, at that time, that space appears to the very end. Also, it is said: The Dharmadhatu is unborn, nor does it ever cease. In all times, it is without afflictions, without defilement in the beginning, middle, and end. Like a precious beryl, although it is always radiant, if it dwells within a stone, its light is not clear. Likewise, the extremely pure Dharmadhatu, obscured by afflictions, its light is not clear in Samsara (119). Upon Nirvana, the light becomes clear. Furthermore, it is said: Just as being covered by chaff, one does not desire the fruit of rice, likewise, being covered by afflictions, one does not regard it as Buddha. Just as when freed from chaff, the rice itself appears, likewise, when freed from afflictions, the Dharmakaya becomes extremely clear. It is said that the water tree has no essence, and although it is used as an example in the world, its fruit is the very essence, like eating sweetness. From the essence-less Samsara, when freed from the husk of afflictions, its fruit is the Buddha, becoming the nectar of all sentient beings. Furthermore, it is said: The sutras that teach emptiness, whatever the Victorious Ones have spoken, all of those dispel afflictions, but do not harm that realm. Furthermore, it is said: Just as water dwelling in the middle of the earth remains without defilement, likewise, wisdom within afflictions also remains without defilement. Furthermore, it is said: Just as a child in a pregnant woman's womb, although it exists, is not seen, likewise, being covered by afflictions, the Dharmadhatu is also not (120) seen. Furthermore, it is said: Just as water in the hot season is said to be warm, and in the cold season it is said to be cold, because it is covered by the net of afflictions, it is said to be a sentient being, and when it is free from afflictions, it is said to be a Buddha. Furthermore, it is said: Just as water mixed with milk dwells in one vessel, and by filtering, the milk is drunk, but the water does not remain in that way, likewise, although the wisdom body dwells in one place, covered by afflictions, the yogi takes the wisdom and abandons what is not known. Furthermore, it is said:
