Then what will it become like? Because dreams are appearances of one's own mind. Appearances of palaces and the speech of gods and goddesses, mantras, etc., should be bound with the wisdom seal through the bindu of mantras. Once that dream is grasped, it should be transformed and increased, going to the Buddha's pure land, exhausting and suppressing, divine ear and clairvoyance and showing miracles, etc. The causes and conditions and states and ultimately (569) the results of making various kinds of illusory transformations in dreams, etc., should be meditated upon like the fifth stage of the venerable Nagarjuna and the illusory body and the secret instruction of solidifying dreams from the six dharmas of the great Naropa, so it is not explained in detail here. Now, if all dreams are said to be delusions, is there an antidote to that dream? Because deluded dreams are samsara, and non-deluded dreams are the antidote. Even for the sons of the Buddhas who abide on the ten bhumis, one hundred and eight distinctions of dream omens are shown, as it is said in the Sutra of the Ten Bhumis to the Bodhisattva Vajradhvamsa, like this: Seeing the form of the Tathagata who teaches with a beautiful form, and that he does not speak, and seeing his head and feet, and his face turned outwards, and seeing a body made of clay, and seeing a body painted with colors, and seeing the body of the Tathagata, and seeing him teaching the Dharma, and seeing him walking in the sky by means of miracles (570), and seeing him sitting and standing, and finding relics and finding hair, and seeing stupas that have not been seen before, and seeing stupas performing miracles, and seeing the light of the Tathagata, and hearing the voice of the Tathagata but not seeing the body, and fully knowing that it is the body, and offering flowers or pearl garlands or incense or perfume to the stupa of the Tathagata, and offering soiled clothes, and hearing Dharma that has not been heard before, and knowing the Dharma that has been taught, and waking up without anyone holding the Dharma and not remembering anything, and seeing a Dharma-speaking monk who has not been seen before.
