Appearance and emptiness are inseparable, the three realms (Tibetan: སྲིད་གསུམ་, referring to the desire realm, form realm, and formless realm, Sanskrit: trayo dhātava, Romanized Sanskrit: trayo dhātava, three realms) are inseparable from emptiness, and the three times are inseparable from emptiness. From the perspective of conventional truth (Tibetan: ཀུན་རྫོབ་, Sanskrit: saṃvṛti, Romanized Sanskrit: samvriti, covering), there are forms and other phenomena that are different from emptiness. Why is that? Because appearance is samsara (Tibetan: འཁོར་བ་, Sanskrit: saṃsāra, Romanized Sanskrit: samsara, wandering), and the essence is nirvana (Tibetan: མྱང་འདས་, Sanskrit: nirvāṇa, Romanized Sanskrit: nirvana, extinction), and the two are inseparable. The luminous dharmata (Tibetan: ཆོས་ཉིད་, Sanskrit: dharmatā, Romanized Sanskrit: dharmata, suchness) that possesses all aspects, the Buddha taught the meaning of the inseparability of samsara and nirvana. Appearance is conventional truth, and essence is ultimate truth (Tibetan: དོན་དམ་, Sanskrit: paramārtha, Romanized Sanskrit: paramartha, ultimate meaning), and the two are inseparable, and their nature is luminosity. The Buddha taught the meaning of the inseparability of the two truths, and those who think that the two truths are different are mistaken. Appearance is the four noble truths (Tibetan: བདེན་བཞི་, Sanskrit: catvāri āryasatyāni, Romanized Sanskrit: catvari aryasatyani, four noble truths), and essence is the one truth, and the two are inseparable, and are the one taste (Tibetan: རོ་མཉམ་, Sanskrit: sama-rasa, Romanized Sanskrit: sama-rasa, same taste) dharmadhatu (Tibetan: ཆོས་ཀྱི་དབྱིངས, Sanskrit: dharmadhātu, Romanized Sanskrit: dharmadhatu, realm of dharma). In possessing all aspects and being without aspects, the Buddha taught the meaning of the inseparability of the four noble truths. The dharmata luminosity has various manifestations of the three realms, although it manifests as many, the essence is one. Therefore, the meaning of the inseparability of the three realms and emptiness is taught, otherwise it is not the intent of the tantras. The reality luminosity possesses all phenomena, and all phenomena of the three times have various manifestations. Although the phenomena are diverse, the essence is one, therefore, the suchness (Tibetan: དེ་བཞིན་ཉིད་, Sanskrit: tathatā, Romanized Sanskrit: tathata, thusness) is taught to be inseparable from the three times. The forms and other phenomena of conventional truth are the dharmas up to all-knowing wisdom (Tibetan: རྣམ་མཁྱེན་, Sanskrit: sarvākārajñatā, Romanized Sanskrit: sarvakarajnata, all-aspect wisdom). From this perspective, there is nothing more excellent than this between form and all-knowing wisdom. From form to the Buddha's dharma, it is the perfectly established nature (Tibetan: ཡོངས་གྲུབ་, Sanskrit: pariniṣpanna, Romanized Sanskrit: parinispanna, perfectly established) of the unchanging dharmata. From pure form to all-knowing wisdom, it possesses the manifestations of all dharmas. In true view, it is said that forms and other phenomena are different, because they are different from conventional truth. Similarly, regarding the forms and other phenomena that are said to transcend the three realms and the three times, up to all-knowing wisdom, This is also a good understanding of all the manifestations of dharmata. Therefore, it is said that emptiness possesses all aspects, these manifestations are not within the scope of consciousness. But rather the realm of individual self-aware wisdom (Tibetan: སོ་སོ་རང་རིག་ཡེ་ཤེས་, Sanskrit: pratyātma-jñāna, Romanized Sanskrit: pratyatma-jnana, self-cognizant wisdom), is the mother of those who see the ultimate truth. Why is that? Because reality is very deep and subtle, so subtle that it cannot be realized through the wisdom of hearing. Because it is ultimate truth, it cannot be realized through the wisdom arising from thought (Tibetan: བསམ་བྱུང་ཤེས་པ་, Sanskrit: cintāmayī prajñā, Romanized Sanskrit: cintamayi prajna, wisdom born of thought). Because the dharmata is deep, it cannot be realized through the meditation of conceptualization, and the shamatha (Tibetan: ཞི་གནས་, Sanskrit: śamatha, Romanized Sanskrit: shamatha, calm abiding) including the formless realm samadhi (Tibetan: གཟུགས་མེད་, Sanskrit: ārūpya, Romanized Sanskrit: arupya, formless). Worldly meditation is not its realm, just as a blind person cannot see things, because children have never seen it before. Therefore, the wisdom that realizes the dharmata luminosity is non-conceptual wisdom (Tibetan: མི་རྟོག་ཡེ་ཤེས་, Sanskrit: nirvikalpa-jñāna, Romanized Sanskrit: nirvikalpa-jnana, non-conceptual wisdom). Mind consciousness (Tibetan: ཡིད་ཀྱི་རྣམ་ཤེས་, Sanskrit: mano-vijñāna, Romanized Sanskrit: mano-vijnana, mind consciousness) will never have conceptualization, similarly, the consciousness of the appearance of karmic forms is consciousness and not wisdom. Maitreya Buddha (Tibetan: བྱམས་པ་, Sanskrit: Maitreya, Romanized Sanskrit: Maitreya, loving one) once said: 'In the manner of appearance, the dharmata...'
