The way to establish the unborn nature. There are three ways to make a decision on the meaning of what has been realized. The first is: From the perspective of the mind's appearance, even if it is not the Dharmakaya, if the appearance itself is taken as a subject to be measured, then the reality of the Dharmakaya wisdom will be determined. This is like examining the mistaken perception of a snake and realizing that it is a rope. Also, like losing an elephant, although the footprint is not the elephant, but finding the elephant by tracking the footprint. As it says in the Tantra of Equality with the Sky of View: "The analogy for searching for it is, finding the elephant by searching from the footprints, searching for the meaning from the aspect of the mind, then finding the wisdom of the self-knowing king." That's how it is. The second is: Investigating which of the three doors is the main one, etc., searching for the characteristics of the mind, examining the place of origin and the one who originates, thereby recognizing the self-nature of the Dharmakaya. That is, as it says in the Post-Death Guidance: "First investigate thoughts, then search for the characteristics of the mind, then examine the three places of origin, destination, and dwelling." This is in accordance with the above statement. The first is: From "being calm..." to "to do." After that, without falling into the one-sided meditation of calm abiding, and in order not to indulge in the great dark meditation without growth, in order to continuously improve, the recognition of insight is presented. In general, there are three ways of giving instructions: the way of giving key instructions, the way of recognizing self-nature, and the way of debating and cleaning like treating a guest. Here, the first two are combined to carry out the maturing guidance. In addition, there are two types of empowerment: universal empowerment and primordial liberation empowerment. Relying on the latter, the former naturally integrates into one's own mindstream. When the practitioner practices, he will be asked to look: "What is your mind like, look!" Thus he is made to look. When looking in this way, if there is no reason to be certain and it cannot be recognized, then, since one has experienced countless rebirths and has many bodies, if the way of accepting these bodies is the same as the present body, then are these bodies and mind one or different? If they are one, then a part of the mind will disappear there, or those bodies should also belong to you now; if they are different, then there is no point in clinging to self. If they are one, then when those bodies are destroyed, will the mind also die? This is the question. The answer is: The body suddenly arises from the union of parents, etc.

Understand in the arisen conditioned phenomena. Thinking about what the mind is like, this kind of thinking becomes very big, and after that. Also, are the body and mind of this present time the same or different? If they are one, it will become like this: the body has many parts such as the head and limbs, and each of those parts is also of the nature of various aggregates such as flesh, blood, bones, and veins, existing without a basis of imputation. Then, will the mind that is one with it also become many? It is impossible for many and one dharma to contradict each other and become one self. Is the mind also produced as the body is produced by the causes and conditions of parents? If that is the case, it is the same as the Lokayata. Also, just as the body is seen by others, will the mind also be seen? Just as the mind is not seen, it is too much to say that the body is also not seen. When the mind's thoughts move, it is too much to say that the body also moves, and just as the body is inanimate, will the mind also become composed of dust, obstructed and tangible? Will the body also become knowing? When the body is destroyed, the mind will also be destroyed, and it is impossible to have a continuous rebirth. This promise that there is no death after the body and mind are separated is not good. Then, do you think they are different? The mind does not recognize the body as self, and even if it is forced to be held as self, it does not recognize accepting the happiness and suffering of the body being insulted, etc. Afterwards, there is no connection of going back and forth, and even if the self is gone, it is like the house is left behind. You must thoroughly investigate the root cause by questioning and debating. Also, the appearance of the body in a dream, whether your body and mind are the same or different, should also be examined in that way. Also, because you cannot think, those two are different, and no matter what the mind thinks, it will reach there, but the body does not go, so is it clear? Even if you die, it would be good if you could enter the body again. However, it is not the mind that arrives there, but the general meaning of the matter that arises in the mind after returning. As a sign of that, it is known that the body and mind have not separated. Similarly, think with speech as well. After that, when putting in which of the three, body, speech, and mind, is the most important, examine it in this way: Also, some people say that the actions of body and speech do not arise without the mind thinking, so the mind is the most important, but this is just talking nonsense. At the beginning, the body is the most important when doing things, speech is the most important when speaking, and the mind is the most important when thinking. On the path, circumambulation and prostration, etc.
