Also, because those are without an agent, merely secret wisdom, without any establishment, all targets and signs are completely purified, therefore, having realized the intention, one will attain the naturally present accomplishment. From 'Lion's Strength Perfection': 'The very nature of the Great Perfection secret mantra, the accomplishment of offerings does not arise, but it culminates in the three types of subjugation.' And so on. From 'Wisdom Equal to Space': 'If the meaning of self-aware dharmata is understood, the five poisons are counted as wisdom, the afflictions' own nature is weakened by subjugation, like the sun rising on a snow mountain. The experience of appearance as dharmadhatu is like an illusion, without substance. The experience of view with confidence is like the experience of clouds and bubbles.' And so on. Third, taming with decisive liberation: because all those demons are due to not transforming the view into the expanse, from the 'Kuntuzangpo Expanse Tantra': 'Even the eighteen actions of demons, the demon of view alone is the one. Therefore, the demon of inferior view.' And so on. Therefore, in the wisdom of self-aware view, samsara itself is the aspect of obscuration, nirvana itself is the aspect of qualities, being perfected. Knowing that these two are also the aspect of inversion, being perfected, thereby cutting off hope and fear in the expanse, if one thinks, it is foolishness; if one meditates, it is bondage; if one rejects, it is effort; if one accomplishes, it is futility; if one realizes, it is samsara; if one abides, it is liberation, knowing these reasons, with confidence, knowing whatever arises as deceptive phenomena, one subdues them. The result of that is that one will attain the accomplishment of the spontaneously present nature of the wisdom dharmakaya. From 'Bliss Wheel': 'The demons of view and meditation are also like that, by realizing this self-born dharmakaya, whatever arises is subjugated and self-liberated, the result is the spontaneously present wisdom. If one realizes, it is the self-born dharmakaya, therefore there is no demon of remembrance, because of subjugation, there is no need for means.' And so on. Third, the essence of intention is: arising naturally from such means, from the essence of one's own mind, reaching the nature of the dharmakaya, there is no object to be grasped with targets and signs, in equipoise there is no dualistic appearance, no matter how much one clings, strives, meditates, or aims, it is not authentic in itself. From 'Wisdom Profound Perfection': 'In order to cut off the wrong paths of the Great Perfection, if one thoroughly realizes the wisdom of non-meditation, from the essence of one's own mind, the meaning of the dharmakaya, there is no separate wisdom dharmakaya to be meditated upon.'

D. Thus it is said. In the beginning of settling in this way, when stillness and insight are combined, at the time of equipoise, the clinging to duality is liberated in its own place, free from the elaboration of conceptual judgment on the phenomena of samsara and nirvana. This is the first arising of the intention of establishing the basis of appearance and existence, the first reality. Then, again, by continuously cultivating abandonment and realization, and through familiarity, in the middle, appearance and existence become established as the basis, and equipoise and post-equipoise become inseparable. One gains confidence by not abandoning the great meditation. Again, due to the certainty of increasingly improving familiarity and vision, the three realms appear as completely liberated, and one gains the confidence that samsara becomes nameless. Finally, all the dharmas to be done in the mind are abandoned, and again, through familiarity, the defilement of all arising afflictions does not manifest in the three doors, so it is said that the intention of the three existences being primordially pure arises. The difference here is that in the former, there is illusory appearance in equipoise, but one can only ward it off in the state of dharmata. Then, in post-equipoise, one does not lose the nature of that wisdom that individually realizes. Then, in equipoise, illusory appearance and illusory clinging cease. Then, in both equipoise and post-equipoise, only the three existences being primordially pure appear. The Tantra of the Heap of Jewels says: With four methods of settling, awareness is settled in a supportless place. The meaning of that is four intentions, all phenomena of appearance and existence are judged. With four times and individuals, all dharmas are completely mastered. With four ways of purifying and liberating, one gains freedom from all afflictions. Thus it is said. Elsewhere, although it is taught by dividing into categories for those with minds focused on external objects, it is not that it does not exist for those with minds focused on self-appearance, just like the methods of settling and liberating. Other than this, in the first intention, all the dharmas of samsara and nirvana arise in the mind like a swarm of bees, and whatever appears in conceptual judgment is used as the path, and one becomes unobstructed in anything. There is no difference between the arising of afflictions and the arising of wisdom, and one is not harmed because one can distinguish between afflictions being liberated as wisdom. Secondly, because it has become the basis, is there elaboration of conceptual judgment? One is able to abide effortlessly in the nature of the basis of reality without elaboration, and thus one is able to effortlessly liberate afflictions. Then, the intention of the three realms being completely liberated arises, and one realizes that there is not even a small part that is not liberated in the presence of the realized one. Finally, one obtains the transformation of the abode, karmic afflictions, and habitual tendencies.
