To strive for this is to prostrate through the practice of meditation, or to prostrate through the method of meditation practice, or to prostrate through the method of accomplishment. As it is said in Hevajra: "Whoever realizes and then meets, I prostrate here at whatever entrance." Furthermore, to recognize the act of prostration, the object of prostration, and the prostrator as inseparable, and to possess confidence in the view of seeing one's own face, is also called the inseparable mingling prostration. It is also called the non-dual mingling. In essence, it is called the prostration of seeing the supreme view. As it is said in the Peaceful and Wrathful Garland of Dances: "Just as water is placed in water, just as oil is placed in oil, in the non-elaborate knowable, I prostrate with the mingling of non-dual awareness." Here, if we consider the actual way of prostration, it is to prostrate through the union of view, meditation, and devotion. However, subsequent practitioners should prostrate according to their respective capacities. Fourth, the first two purify the afflictive obscurations and complete the accumulation of merit, causing it to ripen into the Form Body. The latter purifies the cognitive obscurations and completes the accumulation of wisdom, which is to be perfected, and the result of ripening is the attainment of the Dharma Body. As Nagarjuna said: "Arising from merit and wisdom, one will attain the two supreme bodies." Just like that. Fifth, it is for the sake of completing the determination and for the sake of not arising obstacles. Likewise, subsequent practitioners should also prostrate for the sake of perfecting listening, contemplation, and meditation. The source is: The ultimate practice of the Teacher's Dharma Body's speech secret, the unsurpassed inner tantra, the three appearances, is from the Dharma Body Samantabhadra onwards. The great practitioners of the past manifested as the three bodies of the Buddha, and it has become the single door of peace for all enlightenment. As it is said: "Of countless Thus Gone Ones, the heart essence is one, the realm of thought is one." And, "Whoever attains the fruit of Buddhahood, this itself appears to them. A Buddha who has not seen this, has never arisen before or after." Because it is said like this. Representing that, the ultimate meaning pursued by the minds of all the Vidyadharas and Siddhas of India and Tibet is also this, therefore, they make this the heart essence in their respective Dohas.

The authoritative teachings of the Victorious Ones, and the undisputed teachings blessed by the authoritative instructions, as well as the profound close lineage of the treasure teachings, and all the essential points of the authoritative key texts, are all gathered into one, as the reality of the three lamps of ground, path, and fruition, and the way to correctly practice yoga, an unprecedented adornment of clarity. Here, the auspicious timing has arrived, and it should be proclaimed now. Thus it is said. Furthermore, it is also explained with the seal of the five great vows. First, the meaning of necessity is the necessary connections of the title and the text, etc. The meaning of summarizing is the same as explaining the meaning of summarizing from beginning to end. The meaning of words is the meaning of the text, including definitions, explanations, and definitive words. The connection is the same as the meaning of the chapters, etc. The refutation and response are all the determinations made through debate and examination on each individual aspect in general. In particular, some who mistakenly think say, "Then the name 'Adornment of the Clear Lamp' is not appropriate, because if it is a lamp, it does not need to be clear, like the sun and moon." In response to that, the meaning of the phrases such as 'inside a covered vase' is that, in general, when sentient beings are deluded, the nature of body, speech, and mind, which are obscured by the obscurations of body, speech, and mind, the essence of the three, lamp, clarity, and brightness, is obscured. For example, like a lamp inside a vase that cannot be seen by an unrelated person outside, therefore, ordinary individuals do not see the essence of the spontaneously arisen jñāna (藏文:ཡེ༵་ཤེས༵,梵文天城体:ज्ञान,梵文罗马拟音:jñāna,汉语字面意思:智慧), like the wick of a lamp, and all its signs, appearances, and self-light. In general, the very essence of that spontaneously arisen clear light of jñāna (藏文:ཡེ༵་ཤེས༵,梵文天城体:ज्ञान,梵文罗马拟音:jñāna,汉语字面意思:智慧) itself is free from the extremes of speech, thought, and expression by sound and conceptualization, so it cannot be expressed, and it is self-illuminating and spontaneously accomplished, so it does not need to be made clear by the aggregation of causes and conditions. However, for beings who do not see the jñāna (藏文:ཡེ༵་ཤེས༵,梵文天城体:ज्ञान,梵文罗马拟音:jñāna,汉语字面意思:智慧) like a lamp inside, the very obstacle of the three doors like a vase, like seeing a lamp when a vase is broken, these words and lineages of the Adornment of the Clear Lamp, which are the instructions from the mouth of the lama, as a treatise, are for the sake of the very reason of clearly showing and seeing.
