Among the three experiences of liberation transformation, this is the first. The second is the experience of knowledge arising from practicing it, which is the wisdom of bliss, clarity, and non-conceptuality. As the 'Extensive Sutra' says, 'Through practicing the experience of appearance, based on that, the experience of knowledge arises, and that is also non-dual.' The third is the experience of ultimate transformation, which is merely the experience of appearance, accompanied by the disturbance of wind and mind, therefore it is unreliable. In reality, it is the empty form of the common ten signs, and so on. The distinction of the ground is: for the experience of appearance, there are also differences of inferior, intermediate, and superior habituation, as stated in the 'Lamp Illumination' and the 'Extensive Sutra.' It is also permissible to separately apply the terms of light and wisdom, or ripened bindu, or color and shape. The fourth is: like this, through repeatedly practicing the appearance of the direct perception of dharmata, the sphere of wisdom transcends the boundary of ripening, and is called (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Chinese literal meaning: light, all, ripened, of, bindu), the five-colored silk of the union of the five wisdoms appears upright, as a symbol, covering the direction of oneself, the front, back, left, and right vicinity, the bindu grows from the size of a wheel to the size of a mirror, this is called the appearance of the respective colors of the five wisdoms. As the 'Union Tantra' says, 'The bindu of ripened light stands upright, very clear, unmixed, like a rainbow. If one becomes accustomed to this, one will also see the appearance.' The 'Extensive Sutra' says, 'Through practicing that direct perception, the light also appears clearly like one's own left and right, in front and behind. That also appears day and night without ceasing, the bindu is like a mirror, a wheel, the halo and colors also appear in various ways.' These are the essence of the five pure elements, the pure land of the five wisdoms appearing clearly. Furthermore, through practicing it with intense diligence, it is called ཡེ༵་ཤེས༵་སྨིན༵་པ༵འི་ཐི༵ག་ལེ༵་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Chinese literal meaning: wisdom, ripened, of, bindu), appearing in the form of spokes, the shape of intermediate habituation has differences such as peaceful, increasing, powerful, and wrathful, especially the uprightness of the mirror, and the spoke-like shape of equality, and the eye-spot or corner shape of discrimination, the rope of accomplishing activity, the complete arrangement of the realm of dharmadhatu appears. And, after becoming even more accustomed to it, in the mahamudra vidyadhara, especially in the position of the body, the five hand seals, and the eye-spot of the mirror, and the net-like shape of equality appear.

Curtains and nets, the thousand-petaled lotus of awareness, swords and wheels of accomplished actions, etc., the Dharmadhatu appears in the shape of castles, hearths, etc., and in its center, it matures into five clusters, which is called the "Awareness-Maturity Bindu." The emanation body appears as the upper half and half a face, and after becoming accustomed to that, a single body with face, hands, ornaments, etc., becomes visible. Awareness abides like a flowing stream, without wavering. With wisdom, one gains special experiences, and in the state of blissful, clear, non-conceptual, meditative emptiness, like a river, one is liberated without interruption or the defilement of clinging to experiences, so the wheel of delusion no longer exists. And previously unknown dharmas are known, and all kinds of wisdom appear in accordance. As it says in the "Vast Expanse Sutra": Stupas, curtains, vajras, wheels, swords, half-nets, many eyes, dense eyes, brocade patterns, mirrors, ladders, tsha-tsha patterns, precious blazing light, auspicious knot patterns, light rising, light swirling, light blazing, peacock feathers, pigeon necks, thousand-petaled lotuses, curtain patterns, bindus, fine dots with circumferences, appear in various forms. This is the increase of experiential appearances. One also knows the nature of wisdom experiences, good and bad. Worms, insects, and fleas do not arise on the body. By further taking to experience, one sees light as large as a village. The bindu becomes as large as an apricot. Awareness is like a running yak. Each of those bindus has a circumference of five lights. In the center of that, a single male form appears, a half-form of Vajrasattva, and faces and hands appear and do not appear. By further taking to experience, the bindu becomes as large as a rhinoceros hide shield. In the bindu, a single form appears. The spaces between awareness are adorned with forms. Awareness abides without wavering. The body has no white hair or wrinkles. One does not crave food and drink, and one also knows dharmas that one did not know before. Everything one says becomes Dharma. Enemies and friends do not arise in the mind. Appearance experiences and wisdom experiences both increase. Light and color both increase. In this way, through increasing appearances, the appearances of delusion are extinguished. Thus it is said. Fifth, the way to liberate from the bonds of samsara is: In this way, appearances dissolve into light, and one is liberated from the clinging bonds of form and objects. The inner clinging, the mind's conceptual thoughts, subside into the Dharmadhatu. That is, at the time of seeing the bindu of matured light, form.
