That is, in the "Vastness" it says: The outer manifesting doors are the five senses, especially appearing in the mouth and nose. Also, in the "Burning Lamp" it says: The manifesting doors are the five senses, especially manifesting from the nose. Its signs are, at night, severe coughing and numbness, and when the body is extremely coughing severely, red and clear rays of light, like sparks, shine forth. By its measure and signs, recognize the manifesting door. Thus it is said. Eighth, the field of manifestation is: the nature of self, awareness, and the dharma that enters the field of knowable objects, and all suchness. In the "Refutation Treatise" it says: The field of wisdom is words and meaning, knowing and distinguishing by desiring the connection of words and meaning. Knowing, by metaphors and symbols, and expressing ultimately with words. Knowing by expression is nomenclature, and introducing, guiding, and repeatedly questioning, distinguishing, etc. Thus it is said. Ninth, the key to habituation comes from oral transmission. Tenth, the actual nature of the view is: when awareness appears in the field, its nature, although the clarity of the co-emergent wisdom does not cease, yet it does not mix with the field, clear and aware, without conceptual thought, not grasping at anything, that is it. In the "Vastness" it says: Clearly abide in the great self-knowing. Thus it is said. Eleventh, the measure is: the respective fields of activity of the five wisdoms, where things become the field of power infusion, complete with all the outer and inner signs. In the "Burning Lamp" it says: The measure of the self-born wisdom of the basic abiding, arising from the experience of the equality of all dharmas, is to gain confidence in the stability of awareness. It itself does not change, constantly abiding in the continuum, therefore, with this, grasp the basic abiding wisdom. With this, the body also becomes light, and the awarenesses are clear. The measure of the appearance-grasping wisdom, the sign of experiencing stillness and abiding, the light of the five colors in the center of the body, appearing outward without effort, in this, awareness grasps its own ground. The body also does not touch the ground. With this, wherever awareness abides, objects also begin to move, it is the measure of the maturity of self-power. The measure of uninterrupted memory wisdom, awareness does not enter into others, likes to abide alone, constantly believes in solitary places, does not like to associate with people, awareness is of one essence and does not change, even for the words spoken by others, it is free from grasping, the view does not change, possessing confidence, walking in the sky.
