In the heart of one who is free from (conceptual) thoughts, there is the letter A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: A) marked, and one receives the empowerment of the great light of union. One's own body appears as light, and from the hair-pore between the eyebrows, rays of light blaze to the extent of one fathom, and the fingers are entwined into a rosary of light, and the mandala of the body appears with peaceful, wrathful, and dakini-like inconceivable visions, and from the path of emptiness self-liberation, a drop the size of a small bowl appears on the crown of the head, stacked nine by nine, these phenomena also occur. As stated in the 'Vast Expanse': 'When the body reaches its limit, the intermediate space reveals a window of light, upon which light rays take the form of iron hooks, holding the appearance of entwining and entwining. One's own body is self-purified in reality, becoming a transparent, stainless body of light, with the letter A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: A) in the center, light rays from the eyebrows extend to the length of a fathom, the hair stands on end, and the intermediate space is filled with wind. On the fingers of one's own hands, rosaries of light are clearly entwined. From the palace of the skull on the head, the Herukas appear majestically clear. At that time, one's own body reaches its limit, and the three kayas appear transparently clear. The person to whom this is shown, their awareness is the appearance of reaching its limit.' Thus it is said. The secret awareness reaches its limit, and the seven aggregates are purified in the dharmadhatu. The alaya-vijnana, in an instant, due to past habits, scatters the objects of awareness like sparks, and in the second instant, it does not propagate the continuum of future habits, but is self-purified and self-liberated. Awareness, from the aspect of compassion, possesses all aspects of suchness and as-many-as-exist, and is endowed with the eye of omniscience and the qualities of clairvoyance, possessing two kinds of vision. In summary, the body is liberated into clear light, therefore the mind that clings to it as oneself is reversed, and the connection between body and mind is severed, and it does not regress into the three realms, as stated in the 'Consequence': 'At all times when this appears, the connection between body and mind is severed, even from the body with exhausted defilements, the mind with clear characteristics emerges outward, even in the manner of a shooting star, it is seen clearly in the realm of space. At those initial times, even from those devoid of wind, there is the action of wind striving and purifying, emanating from being cast outside the body. From the aspect of the two kinds of seeing, the body is clear and pure light, the mind is like scattering sparks, not abiding in one place, it is pacified in its own place, appearing as two aspects of appearance, with this the body-mind connection

Having severed, it is not a reversal of the three realms. Thus it is said. Fifth, the measure of familiarity and stability is: From "Lamp Illuminating": The measure of extremely accurate familiarity is when there is no movement or tremor, and when there is no appearance of day and night, that is the measure of extreme familiarity. Self-appearance, body-appearance, a string of pearls, in the space like words, within a tiny mustard seed, the body appears extremely subtle, and when all appearances appear as the body, that is the measure of the stability of awareness. When the appearances of earth, water, fire, and wind, and the appearances of the four elements cease, and the light of the five colors appears, wherever one looks, it appears there, that is the measure of the stability of space. On top of one's own body of light, like a stacked castle, when stacked bindus rise upwards, that is the measure of the stability of the lamp. Thus it is said. Sixth, the qualities of awareness reaching its limit are: From "Vastness": Thus, whoever reaches the limit, their self-appearance, having realized the three kayas, is transcended. Thus, the grasping and apprehended of self-appearance's delusion, self-liberates into the essence of the three kayas' purity, and also transfers into tangible luminosity. Also, from "Clarity of Space": The appearance of awareness reaching its limit, externally and internally, grasping and apprehended, tangible, are liberated. Thus it is said. Seventh, the faults of not reaching the limit are: Not being liberated from the obscurations of knowledge, which are the grasping of the appearance of the aggregates. From that very text: If one does not reach the limit in this way, then one will not be liberated from the grasping of the appearance of the aggregates. Thus it is said. Fourth, a brief explanation of the appearance of the exhaustion of dharmata: Explaining in detail the manner of exhaustion; binding it into a concluding commitment. First: Although the deluded aspect of external appearance has already been exhausted into luminosity from the time of reaching the limit, here, the aspect of the inner alaya consciousness, with the mind gathered by habitual tendencies, is exhausted, and one becomes unconscious, not knowing to reverse external delusion; also, the sheath of the habitual tendencies of karmic maturation, the inner and outer delusions together with wrong thoughts, appearing as the basis of delusion of the upper three, the spontaneously accomplished appearance of the eight doors, the essence of inner pure elements, etc., and when that appearance reaches its limit, here again, the base appearance dissolves into the base, so the elements are absorbed into the mother; the wisdom of the base and path, appearing externally, together with being defiled by wind, the wisdom swirling in the self-essence of the essence of original purity dissolves into the realm of wisdom; and the conceptual signs of view, meditation, and action, grasping and apprehended, the tenets of the compounded truth of the path, etc., self-destructing is the wisdom of the exhaustion of dharma.
