Through the means of samadhi, self-arising is bound within the dharmadhatu. The essence of self-abiding samadhi is the great key point of view, meditation, and action. Abiding equally in the wisdom that transcends view, meditation, and action, the reality of all dharmas, the natural state of things as they are. In the Tantra of the Six Expanses it is said: "I demonstrate the signs of the three kayas, demonstrating three samadhis, among which there are three samadhis of the basis dharmakaya. With self-abiding, still meditation, things and reality abide equally. With the sudden arising vast samadhi, turn back the direct clinging to self-appearing sambhogakaya. With the vast increasing samadhi, all appearances that appear as kaya, nirmanakaya, abide in their own place." Thus it is. Secondly, explaining the method of meditation in detail, there are three, the first of which is the appearance of increasing: The body in vajra posture, the eyes looking at the sky or space with the gaze of an elephant, hoping. The mind without gathering or scattering on the object, equally abiding in the essence of the great meditation of the natural state of awareness, the connection between appearance and mind is severed, and the mind does not go under the power of conditions, which is the activity of the five inner winds binding in the dharmadhatu. If so, then the experiences of the extremes arising from it, and the appearance of emptiness and clarity like purity of dharmata will also arise. In the Six Dharmas it is said: "The great increasing samadhi is for the person who wishes to meditate, in order to hold the unchanging key point, after holding the posture of the body, throw the awareness to the edge of the sky, likewise, with the eyes looking at space, with the gaze of an elephant, placed in the great increasing of non-thought." Thus it is. However, it is not something that can be accomplished by the effort of abandoning and adopting, but it is the most important point to pass through the expanse of self-abiding vajra essence without benefit or harm. Secondly, indicating the means of how to meditate on the self-abiding great samadhi: Not creating artifice by clinging to the appearances of the six aggregates, therefore not scattering outwards, cutting off the continuous thoughts of the inner moving mind, naturally relaxing in the state of the profound clarity of dharmata, view, meditation, action, and result are all decided in the state of awareness being thoroughly one, therefore abiding vastly and boundlessly in the meditation of naturalness, and also abiding in that state when going to sleep, and if connected with thögal, then the bindu is filled.
