། །རི་རབ་རྩེ་གནས་སུམ་ཅུ་རྩ་གསུམ་ལྷ། །ཤིང་འདིའི་ལྷ་དང་ལྷ་མིན་ཐུན་མོང་ལས། །ད་ལྟ་འདོད་པའི་ཁྱེད་ཅག་ལྷ་དབང་ན། །ད་ནི་ངེད་ཅག་ལྷ་མིན་བདུད་ལ་བླང་། །ཞེས་སྨྲས་པ་དང་། ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་སླར་སྨྲས་པ། དཔག་བསམ་ཤིང་ལ་འདོད་ཡོན་བསམ་ཡས་ཀྱང་། །བསོད་ནམས་དབང་གིས་ལྷ་ལ་ཡོངས་སུ་གྲུབ། །གཞན་ལ་ཡོད་ན་སྐམས་ཤིང་མེད་པར་འགྱུར། །དེ་བས་ཁྱེད་ལ་ལྗོན་ཤིང་ངེད་མི་སྟེར། །ཞེས་སྨྲས་པ་དང་། སླར་ལྷ་ལ་སྨྲས་པ། ཐུན་མོང་ལས་གྲུབ་བདེ་ལྡན་ལྗོན་པའི་ཤིང་། །ལྷ་ཡིས་དབང་བྱས་ངེད་ལ་མི་སྟེར་ན། །འཇིག་རྟེན་སྲེག་པའི་མཚོན་གྱི་ཆར་ཕབ་ལ། །ལྷ་དང་ལྷ་མིན་གཡུལ་ ཆེན་འགྱེད་ཅེས་ཟེར། །ཅེས་སྨྲས་ཏེ། སླར་ཡང་སོང་ནས་ལྷ་མ་ཡིན་གྱིས་དམག་དྲངས་སོ། །གླང་པོ་ཆེ་ས་སྲུང་གི་མགོ་སུམ་ཅུ་རྩ་གཉིས་ལ་གནོད་སྦྱིན་སུམ་ཅུ་རྩ་གཉིས་ཞོན་ཏེ། དབུས་ཀྱི་མགོ་ལ་དབང་པོ་ཐགས་ཟངས་རིས་ཞོན་ཏེ། གླང་པོ་ཆེའི་སྣ་ལ་ཀ་མ་ལ་ནག་པོ་བཏགས་ཏེ། ལྷ་མ་ཡིན་གྱི་དམག་བྱེ་བ་དུང་ཕྱུར་གྱིས་བསྐོར་ཏེ། རྫུ་འཕྲུལ་གྱིས་ནམ་མཁའ་ལ་མཚོན་གྱི་ཆར་ཆེན་པོ་མེ་ལྕེ་འབར་བ་འདྲ་བའི་ཆར་འབེབས་ཏེ་དམག་དྲངས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་ཆོས་བཟངས་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་གདན་སར་ལྷ་རྣམས་འཚོགས་ཏེ། འཐབ་པར་བརྩམས་པ་དང་། དང་པོ་ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ཁྲོ་མ་ཤེས་ནས་རྩུབ་འགྱུར་གྱི་ཁང་པ་ན། ཁྲོ་བོ་ལངྐ་ནག་པོ་ཁྲོས་པའི་ཁ་ཆུ་ཁྲོ་ཆུའི་རྫིང་བུ་བདུན་པའི་འཁྱིལ་པ་ལས་འཐུངས་སོ། །དེར་ལྷ་རྣམས་ཞེ་སྡང་སྐྱེས་ཏེ་ཤིན་ཏུ་ཁྲོ་བར་གྱུར་ནས། བཟོའི་ལྷ་བི་ཤོ་ཀར་མས་ནུབ་གཅིག་ལ་གསེར་ཁྲབ་བྱེ་བ་ཕྲག་དགུ་འབུམ་རང་བརྡུངས་སོ། །ལྷ་མ་ཧཱ་ཀྲོ་དྷ་ས་ནུབ་གཅིག་ལ་མཚོན་རལ་གྲི་དང་། འཁོར་ལོ་དང་། ཐོད་པ་དང་།ལྕགས་ཀྱུ་དང་། དགྲ་སྟ་དང་། མདུང་རྩེ་གསུམ་པ་བྱེ་བ་ཕྲག་དགུ་ཁྲི་དགུ་འབུམ་རང་བརྡུངས་སོ། །དུས་དེ་ཙམ་ན་ལྷ་རྣམས་གོ་མཚོན་ཐོགས་ཏེ། གླང་པོ་ཆེ་རབ་ཏུ་བརྟན་པའི་མགོ་སུམ་ཅུ་རྩ་གཉིས་ལ་ཉེ་དབང་སུམ་ཅུ་རྩ་གཉིས་ཞོན། དབུས་ཀྱི་མགོ་བོ་ལ་ལྷའི་དབང་པོ་བརྒྱ་བྱིན་ཞོན། ལྷ་དམག་བྱེ་བ་དུང་ཕྱུར་གྱིས་མཐའ་བརྟེན་ཏེ། གླང་པོ་ཆེའི་སྣ་ལ་རལ་གྲི་བཏགས་ནས་ལྷ་དང་ལྷ་མ་ཡིན་གཉིས་གཡུལ་བཀྱེའོ། །དུས་དེ་ཙམ་ན་ལྷས་མཚོན་བརྒྱབ་པ་རྣམས་ནི། ཁྲག་གར་ཕོག་པ་ལ་བདུད་ཀྱི་དམག་མི་ཁྲི་ཁྲི་ཙམ་དུ་འཕེལ་ལོ། །ལྷ་མ་ཡིན་གྱིས་མཚོན་བརྒྱབ་པ་ལ་ནི་ཁྲག་ལ་དམག་མ་འཕེལ་བར་ཤིའོ། །དེར་ལྷ་ཐམས་ཅད་གཏིང་འཕམ་སྟེ། ལྷ་མ་ཡིན་རབ་ཏུ་རྒྱལ

三十三天之顶须弥山，此树之天与非天共之物，如今欲求之汝等天神权，今我等非天当向魔取偿。如是语已，诸天复言：如意树虽有无量欲妙，然以福德力故，于天成就。若于他处，则枯萎而无有。是故此树我不予汝。如是语已，复对天言：共同所成具乐之树木，若天执权不予我等，则降焚世之兵器雨，天与非天大战云。如是说已，复又往而阿修罗兴兵矣。三十二地护象之首上，三十二药叉乘之，中央之首上，帝释天乘之，象鼻上系黑莲，阿修罗之军为千亿所绕，以神通于虚空降兵器之大雨，如火焰燃烧般降雨而兴兵矣。其后于名曰善法之座上，诸天集会，开始战斗，初时诸天不知嗔怒，于粗暴转变之房中，饮用黑怒者罗睺罗怒时之口水，七怒水池之漩涡。于彼处诸天生嗔，极为愤怒，巧匠神毗首羯磨于一夜间锤炼九亿金甲。神祗大忿怒尊于一夜间锤炼兵器宝剑与轮、颅器、铁钩、战斧、三尖矛九亿九十万。彼时诸天持兵器，于极坚固之三十二象首上，三十二近侍乘之，中央之首上，天神帝释天乘之，天兵千亿眷属围绕，于象鼻上系剑，天与非天二者交战也。彼时天所击之兵器，血所触之处，魔之军队增长至千万。阿修罗所击之兵器，血不增兵而死。于此诸天皆溃败，阿修罗大胜。

On the summit of Mount Sumeru, the gods of the Thirty-Three Heavens, this tree is shared by gods and asuras. Now, if you gods desire power, then we asuras will take it from the demons. Having spoken thus, the gods replied: Although the wish-fulfilling tree has immeasurable desirable qualities, it is fully accomplished for the gods by the power of merit. If it were elsewhere, it would wither and cease to exist. Therefore, we will not give you this tree. Having spoken thus, they again said to the gods: This joyful tree, born of shared effort, if the gods seize power and do not give it to us, then we will rain down weapons that burn the world, and the gods and asuras will wage a great war. Having said this, they went again, and the asuras mustered their forces. On the thirty-two heads of the earth-protecting elephants, thirty-two yakshas rode, and on the central head, Indra rode. A black lotus was tied to the elephant's trunk, and the asura army was surrounded by a billion troops. Through magical power, they rained down a great rain of weapons in the sky, raining down like burning flames, and mustered their forces. Then, at the seat called "Good Dharma," the gods gathered and began to fight. At first, the gods did not know anger, and in the house of coarse transformation, they drank the saliva of the angry black Rahu, from the whirlpool of the seven pools of angry water. There, the gods became angry and were exceedingly wrathful. The artisan god Vishvakarman forged nine hundred million gold armors in one night. The god Mahakrodha forged nine hundred ninety million weapons, swords, wheels, skull-cups, iron hooks, battle-axes, and tridents in one night. At that time, the gods took up arms, and on the thirty-two heads of the exceedingly stable elephants, thirty-two attendants rode. On the central head, the god Indra rode, and the heavenly army was surrounded by a billion troops. A sword was tied to the elephant's trunk, and the gods and asuras fought. At that time, wherever the weapons struck by the gods hit blood, the demon army multiplied to tens of millions. But when the asuras struck with weapons, the blood did not increase the army, and they died. There, all the gods were utterly defeated, and the asuras were greatly victorious.
