This is the vajra protection mudra. Starting from holding the vajra fist, the two index fingers are extended, and held on both sides of the mouth. This is the great vajra yaksha. Starting from holding the vajra fist, cross and close the mouth, and hold it tightly at the heart. This is the great vajra fist. After contemplating the mudra of the lineage, with these hand gestures, generate the intention of gathering and scattering, bind and release into the sky. The thumb intersects with the little finger. The tips of the middle fingers are joined, and the other four fingers are also extended. Like Vajradhara, the backs are joined, this is the Vajradhara mudra. The backs are joined, the tips of the thumb and index finger are joined, and the little finger is extended into the eye of the index finger. The rest are made into a three-pointed shape, this is the Vajra Eye mudra. Raise the left arm, the fingers are made into a lotus shape, and hold the fingers on the right. This is the Vajra Tara mudra. The knees of the two legs and the elbows of the two hands, after joining together, spread out the hands, this is the Samantabhadri mudra. The vajra fist rests on the waist, swaying to the right, looking with lustful eyes, this is the Vajra Lasya mudra. The left hand is made into a full moon shape, the right hand holds the elbow, rotating and scattering the fingers, this is the Vajra Dhupa mudra. The backs of the two hands are joined, forming the vajra fist, the little fingers are connected, and the index fingers are extended. This is the Vajra Hook Mother mudra. The little fingers are connected like a rosary, and all the fingers are extended separately. Looking with the palms facing up, this is the Vajra Tara mudra. The ring finger and the thumb, each with the fingertips joined, stretched straight in front, this is the Vajra Mala mudra. The tenth chapter on mudras from the Noble and Wonderful Unerring Lasso Lotus Garland Sutra is complete. Then, the Buddhas and Buddha-mothers in the mandala, as well as the eight great Bodhisattvas such as Vajrapani and the numerous retinues, together harmoniously praise: Om, in the boundless worlds of the ten directions, all the Buddhas and their retinues, the supreme gods and goddesses, the accomplished blessings are inconceivable. Sixteen Bodhisattvas, lords of the lineages, sixteen Buddha-mothers.

Mother of the Mother Tantra. Mighty Wrathful One and Wrathful Mother, As messengers, possess the ability to protect the world. Om, the great primordial vow, Since it unites all beings in the realms of the Victorious Ones, Unite me in the Great Mudra. Om, mighty and powerful heroes, Through the blessings of great compassion, I beseech you to bless the extraordinary thoughts of myself, So that they may be accomplished. Om, I prostrate to the one who unites the three realms with the pure lands. I prostrate to the Dharmakaya, devoid of focus. I prostrate to the Sambhogakaya, complete with enjoyment. I prostrate to the Nirmanakaya, which manifests in various forms. After praising in this way, he entered into his own heart. For the sake of play, he entered into the samadhi of the Wrathful One and explained the conceptualizations of the Wrathful One. Then, Vajrapani said this to the Bhagavan, the glorious Vajrasattva: Bhagavan, in the present and future times, Naked ascetics and wandering ascetics, etc., through the actions of their respective vidya-mantras, incite the worldly gods such as Mahadeva, As well as powerful yakshas, and all flesh-eating mothers, Thus creating obstacles to the lives of sentient beings, Causing harm, Inflicting great suffering. What means should be used to avert this? How should their union be severed? Grant your command. Vajrapani, listen. This was previously spoken by the Lord of Vajra, the body, speech, and mind of all the Tathagatas. Vajrapani, the secret mantras performed by you, And the secret mantras that exhaust existence, can also avert, Can also suppress, Can sever union, what need is there to mention other wandering ascetics, etc.? Then, the Bhagavan entered into the samadhi of the vajra weapon, and from the vajra of body, speech, and mind, he spoke this which is called averting and suppressing mantras, And severing union: Om Vajra Jwala Vajra Hum. Mantra Sumbhani. Om Vajra Jwala Hum. Om Bhrum Hum Bhrum Trum Bhrum Hum Bhrum Shramh Bhrum Ah Bhrum. As soon as this was spoken, a great rain of weapons fell from the ten directions, and Vajrapani himself, Also fell face down and began to vomit blood. All the gods and yakshas also fainted, and their bodies were cut into pieces.
