One should adopt or reject based on virtuous dharmas. Those dharmas that are free from protection should be left as they are since they cannot be protected. On such a samaya, one should place one's mind as it is. With a mind free from forgetfulness, one should bind oneself in a state of non-protection. This samaya of the unprotected sky, in its naturally arising essence, appears as individual vows and moral discipline. Children hold onto verbal vows, which are said to be taught on the basis of the two truths. One practices samaya for the unsurpassed supreme. Although one does not stray from the meaning of one, it is known separately before the taming master. The supreme samaya is that which possesses oneness. Whoever possesses that is supreme, and transgressing it leads to breaking the vow. Therefore, the great samaya is said by the heroes to be like the sky. Among all victorious heroes, none come from other than this samaya. Even the differences in practices are such that the nature of reality is free from all actions and seeking. There is no goal of practice or what is to be practiced. Those who cut through delusion, it is a mistake to inject suffering and effort into the effortless great bliss of enlightenment. In the nature of reality, which is without action, it is a mistake to engage in afflictions without action. As in the naturally arising, spontaneously accomplished state, what is there to seek with childish behavior? What does one desire, and what does one accomplish? Whatever one practices, accomplishes, or seeks, it is only suffering and not enlightenment. For hell and the great Buddha, suffering is the path to enlightenment. What is the difference shown between the two grounds of Hearers and Solitary Realizers, and the Great Vehicle? All actions and efforts are mistaken, and are great obstacles to unsurpassed enlightenment. If one does not see with this expanse of mind the meaning of the great bliss that is free from seeking, whatever practice and effort one engages in, one wanders meaninglessly like a child. In the nature of reality that cannot be sought, what can one do with the practice of effort? In the nature of reality that is free from grasping, there is no mistaken effort of grasping at words. In the nature of reality that cannot be traversed, the mandala of traversing is separate from names. In the nature of reality that cannot be thought about, it is separate from the object of conceptual thought. In the nature of reality that cannot be sought, it is spontaneously accomplished from the very beginning without seeking. It is vast because it has no beginning or end. It is primordially clear and pervasive because it has no inside or outside. It is spontaneously perfect without faults or virtues. Because it cannot be practiced, it is free from the mind of seeking. Because it cannot be grasped, it is free from objects. It is greatly blessed because it knows everything. It is primordially enlightened.

Abides in the intention. Such is the distinction of conduct. Therefore, although there is nothing other than one, In the nature of conduct-conforming effort, Various conceptual conducts appear separately. All delusions are practiced in samsara, Cause and effect are infallible, practicing the truth, In the unobservable, practicing in the sky. Thus, even practicing all practices, The meaning of the holy is the supreme practice. For all who have become holy, There is no conduct of the holy other than that. The supreme being spoke thus, Know it without doubt. Unfabricated Enlightenment is suchness. In the nature of the undomitable Dharma, Meditation is an objectless state, Samadhi cannot be established. Even if meditated, it is not attained, Likewise, if not meditated, there is no loss. Even if various meditative Dharmas appear, After meditating, one does not abide in its state. Therefore, it is the realm of children. For example, by the nature of children, Various forms such as earth, Having made them beautiful, they are seen for a moment. Having seen them, they are not established, In just a moment, they are destroyed, Appearing as dust of earth and so on. Likewise, the child yogi, Meditates on various forms and so on, In a moment of the mind's distinction, Various movements of the mind arise. As they arise, they are not established, In a moment of the mind's recollection, The object of the mind is cut off, Having abandoned the extremes of arising and feeling ceasing, The Dharmas, like the sky, Are focused on in the unspeakable, uninterruptedly. That meaning, without perversion, Unforgetfulness is the supreme of meditating on samadhi. Why is the nature of the Dharmadhatu, Like the sky, uncompounded? Because it is unthinkable, it is like the sky, Because it is unspeakable, it is separate from form, The all-ground, in all the sky, The mind is like the sun rising in the sky, The consciousness is covered by clouds of affliction, The winds of formation move everything, Clarity, arising, entering, clearing, and ceasing. The conceptual thoughts of the consciousness of signs, Do not allow seeing the all-ground sky. Seeing the all-ground is the Dharmakaya, This meaning is not forgetting the sky, The great samadhi is uninterrupted. Whoever holds this meaning in mind, Even if various objects of form appear, The mind is primordially in nirvana. For all the great bliss Buddhas, There is no intention greater than this. This sky without appearance, Abides in the great samadhi
